PoB

Proof of Brain means the ability of a writer to produce meaningful and unplagiarized articles on Steemit. As we all know steemit has zero tolerance for plagiarism, so the whole idea here is to be original.

Curation

This is the process of reviewing articles written by other users on the blockchain to know the quality of posts made by people. After review, the curator upvotes the post if it is reasonable and free of plagiarism, otherwise, the post is downvoted by the curator. Anyone can be a curator, all you need is to build up your SP for you to have more influence on the platform.

Self-upvote

Firstly, there are two sides to upvotes. There is the good side and there is the bad side, I will start with the good side.
Upvoting your posts will fetch you both author rewards and curation rewards(if you have enough SP). If you have enough SP you can write whatever you like and post it, you have the voting power.
Let us talk about the bad side. The terrible thing about self-upvoting is that there is no one to check the standard of your posts. You do not require the consent of anybody to award yourself an upvote. I believe that we all on this blockchain are learning from one another. When the standard is reduced(mismanaged voting) the learning process is affected negatively. What mostly checkmates the users here is the fear of not getting votes for our posts. When the fear is no longer there, the whole thing then becomes a joke. On this note, I strongly believe that it is unacceptable to vote for oneself. We should all be accountable to one another.

Some of the tokens Earn by socializing on steemit are TRX, STEEM, and SBD(steem dollars). SBD is the most valuable of them all. Although not quoted by exchanges, it can be swapped for steem and then sold on any exchange of your choice.
