Kevin David Lehmann, the youngest billionaire at the age of 18, has a fortune of 20 Milion USD

Turning 18 years old last September, Kevin David Lehmann's name suddenly became the only teenager in the ranks of the world's richest people this year. This teenager from Germany has been named the youngest billionaire in the world according to Forbes.

In the latest Forbes release, Kevin has an estimated net worth of USD 3.3 billion or nearly IDR 50 trillion. The source of this wealth was obtained after Kevin's father gave half of his stake in a pharmacy company.

It is known that his father is Guether Lehmann, one of the majority owners of the largest pharmacy network in Germany, Drogerie Market (DM). Kevin received the share inheritance when he was 14 years old.

Considering how young he was when the shares were transferred, he could not fully become the sole owner of the property.

Kevin was still accompanied by the trustee to oversee his property until he reached the age of 18, the age limit at which citizens in Germany began to get concentration on several matters.

Kevin inherited his family's property that had been built since decades ago. It started with his father, Guether, who founded wholesale retail company Pfannkuch in 1974, then decided to invest in DM.

DM itself was founded by a well-known German businessman, Goetz Werner in 1973. Until now, DM has had 3,700 outlets not only in Germany but almost all over Europe. The company's latest revenue was recorded to touch USD 12 billion.

Despite holding a majority stake in the company, neither Kevin nor his father are known to be operationally involved in company affairs. Little information is known about them
