I have read your full lecture on blockchain in which you have provided very detailed information and instructions regarding blockchain and its platforms.Now i am going to write my homework.

Third generation blockchain technology? What is it?

If we talk about first and second generation of blockchain then we talk about Bitcoin and Ethereum respectively.
But with the passage of time to solve the problems like scalability and efficient transaction speed etc., new technologies are developed.
Let’s talk about two very famous and latest crypto currencies I.e EOS and Cardano. Former started in 2017 and other started in 2015.
Both these Projects were started to diminish and remove the problems people were facing in old currencies.

It is a decentralized platform and Prominent feature of EOS is its interoperability property that is efficient interaction among organization or people that are part of this project.

It is quite different form other currencies in terms that its scientific methodology is first reviewed in educational institutes and then after approval and discussion, features are developed. Developed by Charles Hoskins who has a very glamorous record in crypto currency, its scientific methodology gives it an edge to be trusted among users.

Comparison between EOS & CARDANO:

Eos characteristics:

This platform is built easier and faster for people to join. More than 300 applications are running using this currency.
It uses WASM engines to enhance smart contract performance.
Uses Multi-threading feature to improve and explore advance data bases.
It maintains communication within the system and also with other block chain using Inter Block Chain mechanism.
It uses a BFT-DPOS consensus to solve problems like fast transactions.
This currency do not have much users as it is new compared to other currencies so we can’t top list it.

Cardano characteristics:

It comprises of three entities I.e Cadano foundation , Input/output and Emurgo.
It was launched in 2015 and in two years the tokens were sold in very less price. It is famous for having g a layered system that is Cardano settlement layer, Cardano computational layer and KMZ side chains.
This layered system system makes it very hard and almost impossible to hack data once information is uploaded on block chain.
This system uses state consensus Ouroborus to check transactions.
This project is working from day 1 in fact was built with motive of fixing problems like scalability.
Its drawback we can say is that they take time in launching new features that maybe a point to corncerned about for its users.
