Very good post, STEEM blockchain is the block chain of our DApp, Steemit, at the time it was the revolution, its consensus protocol and everything that this platform brought with it, you managed to explain much of its history in this post.

The decentralization, the empowerment of each user to redistribute the rewards and the great inclusion and esteem that exists in STEEM is what makes it a great blockchain, it complies with being scalable, secure and decentralized, who can not like STEEM? A blockchain designed to establish a social model, something it has achieved.

You achieved everything expected, you talked about the history of the blockchain, its initial deficiencies, you gave your opinion about the changes that you think can improve the network and you talked about a project that works on it.
