As part of my homework task, I will be comparing Google Chrome and brave browser

Google Chrome

It's a web-based browser that can be accessed both on mobile devices and computers it is compatible and accessible by users globally and can be accessed free of charge.

Advantages

1. It's a fast web-based browser with a fast time loading page; I've used these browsers as my default, base browsing application for several years and I can commend and recommend this application for use to anyone interested and looking for a fast web browser when browsing on any application the time and speed loading are taken into consideration there are some of the important features the users look for when browsing.

2. Available features to create multiple tabs;
   I love these features on the google chrome browser as it gives users to create multiple tabs when at when browsing.

3. Automatic language translation feature; this is a very unique feature available for google chrome users to be read articles or post from any language directly from the web-based application.

4. User friendly; the user interface on the google chrome application is very convenient and users can install the application very easily without much inconvenience.

Disadvantages

1. Space utilization; if you are using a mobile device or computer with little available RAM or space it will be very difficult to browse conveniently without experiencing difficulties like slowness or hanging of a phone due to lack of space.

2. Tab closes without notification; one other disadvantage about chrome is tabs can close without prior notification.

Brave browser

With the introduction of the decentralized application, I've switched most of my browsing activities to a decentralized system.

Advantages

1. Rewards features; One of the reasons I switched to browsing on the brave browser was the available feature of reward for searching and browsing on the application users can be rewarded using BAT token which can be used to buy other cryptocurrencies from other exchange in simple I get some reward for browsing on the brave browser application.

2. Ads blocking; using brave browsers you do not need to worry about pop ads and unwanted advertisements from unknown users.

3. privacy; being a decentralized application considers users' privacy since its user's accounts are protected, it's an open-source browsing application.

Disadvantage

1. few extension support features; one reason I have to sometimes switch to another browsing app is that brave browser doesn't support multiple extensions although shortly this extension can be supported on the application.

2. Used up space; I have to check my device cache and storage to regularly clear them up due to the large space the app takes.

Conclusion/remark
With the advancement in technology today I believe the world is embracing the decentralized system and the future is likely to be more decentralized as it gives users more security and anonymity over their data and accounts.
