Very interesting class of Professor @sapwood is my first participation in one of his classes and the truth I see that has a very good way to explain, it made me realize that there are still issues that I did not know about the cures is why I will perform this task.

What will happen if you vote before "5 minutes old of a post" and after "6 days 12 hours old of the post" on Steem Blockchain? (Include your own experiences / Examples)

If before the 5 minutes of antiquity what happens is that you lose power of healing that is to say when you vote after 3 minutes of having been activated the publication would no longer be 100% would be only 50%.

• Example

If the publication is active to get a reward of 50% author and 50% curator, when I vote let's say after 3 minutes of having been published I as a curator lose 50% of my gain. So the best option is to wait a range of time after the 5 minutes.

Instead if you vote after 6 days and 12 hours you can completely lose your vote because voting in this time has a small caveat that few know about i.e. if you vote a post that is 6 days and 12 hours old it makes you as a curator lose your reward as your sp starts to drop to a point that can reach 0 before the 7 days of the post is up.

• Example:

Let's say I vote a publication that gives a vote of 5$ but since I did it in the time of 6 days and 12 hours my vote is going to drop little by little until it can reach 0. Since after this period no longer is strong the gain that you get as a curator.

The best way to verify the healing power is to go to steemworld.org and they will give you the options of the movements and explain each pull performed on your steemit account

Under what circumstances can a curator earn more than 100% of the value of a positive vote as a cure reward?

When a person has high sp and heals after the other healer votes before 5 minutes, it is the best option to have the highest healing power.

As you can see the post of the cured @manuelramos of number 4 and the cure time was 19m 6s.

What is the role of curation in better content discovery on Steem Blockchain?

When we see a quality post the first thing we should do as a curator is to read the content, look for that it is not spam and that each of its sources are correct. The important thing is not only to vote to get the reward but also to review the content very well and make a comment if you get any error.
