Welcome to my homework post for Respected Professor @yohan2on who has explained in this lecture about video games that have been built on blockchain.

What is Blockchain cuties universe.

Blockchain cuties universe is a game project and it is blockchian based project. As the decentralized applications are being developed, likewise blockchain-based games are also being developed. I have personally seen children playing game on mobile and laptops, so it is quite amazing to see blockchain- based game projects coming on to seen. It will not be waste of time but people will like to play these games as they will be rewarded for playing these games with some kind of crypto tokens.

Blockchain cuties universe is the part of this development and it is one of the most popular games that are based on blockchain. It was introduced in the market in 2018 and it works on 5 different blockchain networks. These networks are Tron, Eos, Eth, Matic and Neo. There are many cute animal characters with which we can play this game. These animals are dogs, cats, bears lizards etc. These animals represent non-fungible tokens that are owned by the user. And these animals can be sold out by the owner/user. So, it is interesting that user can sell and buy these animals/characters and earn some tokens.

What is BCUG?

Blockchain Cuties Universe Governance (BCUG) is the native token of this platform. Its current price is $2.08 which can be seen in the screenshot given below. Its current circulating supply is 1,201,561.15 BCUG in the market. Some exchanges have listed BCUG on which it can be trade. These exchanges are Gate.io, UniSwap, Bilaxy, ZT.

How it works?

BCUG tokens are used to buy characters available on this platform, buy other items and to organize tournaments in the game. BCUG holders also enjoy the right to vote on the internal rules and regulations of this platform. Stackers of BCUG are also entitled to earn HERO tokens that can also be used to purchase additional features of the characters. In this way, with the help of additional features, these characters get more strength to fight stronger characters in the game.

How to play game?

Go to https://blockchaincuties.com/ in order to play the game. On the homepage, there is an option "Start Playing", click on it and next interface will open.

In the next step, it will ask to login and register with many options . Select any of these options to get registered and login. I have selected Tronlink.

After this, I will have to contact an agreement and a pop-up message appear on the screen. I clicked on "Accept".

Then I filled the next form and entered my email address. I have been given player number and referral link and then click on "Save".

My Cuties.

As it can been seen that I have logged into the platform. On this page of My cuties, there are different options of blockchains which are Ethereum, Eos, Tron, Neo and Matic. There are also many characters/animals available that I have mentioned in the picture. There are cat, Dog, Bear, Lizard, Fox, Owl, Alien, Hedgehog, mythic, Mutant, Pig and Rabbit. User can select any of these characters/animals and each of them has its own characteristics. User can develop his pet in the way he wants and thus can increase the value of the animal.

Forge.

On this page of Forge, user can purchase additional features of their character and thus make their character stronger. These features are purchased to strengthen the character and be able to fight some strong opponents in the tournaments. If the character is stronger, its value will also increase.

Adventures.

As the name refers, this is the are where games are played. On this option, user's character fight with other users' characters and gain the experience of fighting at this platform. Click on "Send on an adventure", and the cutie will be sent to fight with others.

Next interface will ask to select the place of adventure, select it and the game starts.

Here the cutie will fight others and result will be shown in the reports. Reports of the fights can be seen on clicking on the bell icon mentioned in the picture and then click on View Report.

BCUG.

On this section, user can buy BCUG tokens, stake tokens and earn some passive income. To be able to perform these transactions, one will have to login with Ethereum wallet and I have connected my MetaMask wallet. This option is available to all and anyone can stake anytime and unstake in the same way.

Tournaments.

In this section of the game, there is list of tournaments that are available for the time being and one can participate in tournaments and earn great prizes along with gaining experience. Only TRX rewards are available right now.

Marketplace.

As the name refers, this is the place where user can buy or sell their cuties or characters. I have mentioned some characters on the page where it can be seen that their price is written on them and these are for sale.

Special Sale.

This is the market place where characters with special combat abilities are advertised and their features are presented with great detail here. These characters are very costly.

Leaderboard.

This is the place where top players are listed along with their points. BCUG holders can also be seen here. It shows the amount of BCUG tokens any user have.

Achievements.

In this section, user can see his achievements and claim them. I have also got some achievements and these have been mentioned in the screenshot. You can see how many achievements I have claimed.

Advantages.

Following are some of the advantages of this blockchain-based game.

1. Most of the games are based on one network while this games works on 5 different networks and it is a plus point for this game platform.

2. Due to 5 networks support, users can easily approach this network and play game on this platform.

3. Games are often considered waste of time. But in this case, it is not a waste of time and user can enjoy the game and earn income in the mean time.

4. Platform is very easy to use, thus it is user friendly. Anyone can access the game easily.

5. BCUG holders have a say in governance and right to earn passive income at the same time.

Disadvantages.

1. Some features have to be purchased to strengthen the character, thus it needs investment and everyone is not able to do this.

2. Fights have no video thus making it a little bit non-interesting. It needs improvement and there should be video of these fights.

3. Still this platform is not very popular and lot of improvements needed to attract masses. In this way, income will be increased if more users are active at this platform.

4. Healing time keep on increasing while the user will not want to wait for such long period.

My Score for the Game.

My score for the game is 3.5/5. As soon as masses will join this platform and new improvements are made, it will gain more score. The earning feature of the game is very positive and it is not a waste of time.

As now, it is not very interesting and there is a lot of potential for growth as crypto networks will be adopted by the masses. I hope, in the near future, it will gain attraction of many new users and will be adopted by many users.

I have learned from this lecture that there are games that are able to generate income while playing and enjoying the game. I have practically played game and earned some achievements. These blockchain-based games will attract people due to its feature of earning. People love to play games and along with this feature of earning, it is more attractive for game lovers.

With the evolution of blockchain technology, these blockchain-based games will also be adopted. On the other hand, there is lot of space for improvements and with enhanced features, it can attract more people.
