Hello everyone, it a great pleasure for me to carry out the task given by @besticofinder in the @crypto-academy.

To begin trading crypto currencies you need to understand the fundamental terms. In this article I will be explaining the fundamental terms of Altcoins , Stable coin , trading pair , Bagholder , HODL , Sats , Bear/Bearish , Bull/Bullish , FUD.

ALTCOINS

Altcoins are the other cryptocurrencies launched after the success of Bitcoin. The term "altcoins" refers to all cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin. Bitcoin the king of crypto, holds its status as the first established cryptocurrency and highest priced currency of its kind in the market,
We have more than 5,000 altcoins created after bitcoin. E.g Ethereum (ETH), Litcoin (LTC), Tron (TRX) and so on.

STABLE COINS

A stablecoin is a cryptocurrency or a crypto token that matches the value of a real-world asset. In many cases, it’s an asset that has a predictable value and purchasing power.

A common example of a stablecoin is the US dollar. Or, it can be something like a commodity like gold or silver. Usually, it’s something that we can have relative predictability on.

TRADING PAIR

A trading pair are assets that can be traded for each other on an exchange. It can also be define as a function whereby you have two different currencies that can be traded between one another.

When buying and selling a cryptocurrency, it is often swapped with local currency. For example, If you're looking to buy or sell Bitcoin with U.S. Dollar, the trading pair would be BTC/USD. Similarly, it can be swapped with other cryptocurrencies in the same way. So when Bitcoin is being traded with Ethereum, the trading pair would be BTC/ETH.

BAGHOLDER

Bag holder simple means an investor who has invested in any asset and holds a position in security till the time the value of inestment falls down to zero. There might be various reasons for this but one of the most common reasons is the unawareness about the declining value of the stock.

HODL

Hodl is slang in the cryptocurrency community for holding a particular cryptocurrency rather than selling it. The person holding this cryptocurrency is refer as the Holder*

SATS

SATS is the ticker for Satoshi. It is gotten from the first name of Satoshi. A Satoshi is the smallest unit of Bitcoin. The value of a Satoshi is 0.00000001 BTC.

BEAR/BEARISH

Bear or Bearish simple means when there is a substantial market downtrend over a relatively period of time. Basically, it’s when you see that the prices start to rapidly drop. The term Bear or Bearish is gotten from a Bear who strike downward with is claw.

BULL/BULLISH

Bull or Bullish is simple the opposite of Bear or Bearish. It feature upward trends over a period of time. When a markets is Bullish it is often characterized by optimism among investors, as they bring expectations of prices to rise. The term Bull or Bullish is gotten from an animal called Bull because it usuallly strike upward.

FUD

FUD is simple the short form of Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. FUD can cause the price of a coin to drop, not based on fundamentals or charts, but based on bad news that spreads around social media. It is often spread on social media like twitter and facebook.

CONCLUSION
