JUSTLEND

INTRODUCTION TO JUSTLEND

Justlend is a platform based on a Tron block chain that has been designed to enable it's users borrow and supply which attracts an annual percentage yield (APY) for both the supplier and borrower. The suppliers get interests while the borrower pays an interest which isn't too high.

The interest rate depends on the token that wants to be supplied or borrowed, which changes depending on the period of time as per the demands on the token. The borrower must have jtoken that can be used as a collateral incase the borrower is unable to return the borrowed token. Jtokens are gotten from justlend they are tokens which are tradeable on justlend.

MARKETS AVAILABLE IN JUSTLEND

These are the tokens available for supply and borrow in justlend,

  1. TRON (TRX)
  2. TETHER USD (USDT)
  3. SUN
  4. JUST (JST)
  5. BITCOIN (BTC)
  6. ETHERUEM (ETH)
  7. JUST STABLE (USDJ)
  8. WRAPPED BTT (WBTT)
  9. WINK (WIN)

Among this markets as at today the one which offer the best APY for supply is WIN with about 17.18% while the market with the lowest APY for borrow is USDJ with an APY of 0.67%. APY depends on the demand on the different tokens at a particular time.

(2) How do you connect TronLink Wallet to JustLend, and How do you supply a token(e.g. TRX, SUN, JST, etc) to earn Supply APY? (Screenshot Needed)

How to acquire jTokens

jTokens can only be acquired after a token has been supplied on justlend, the token supplied determines the kind of jToken that will be gotten. If for instance one supplied Tron the person will get jTron. If one supplies 100 Tron the person gets 10000 jTron as his reciept. The amount of token supplied gives ×100 of the jToken gotten back as receipt.

Below is a screenshot of the jToken I got after supplying 1 Tron.

(4) How to collateralize jTokens to borrow another asset?

Firstly one is to collateralize a jToken, after supplying a token one must ensure that the token he or she wants to borrow is not more than the amount of the jToken in his wallet. One must borrow a token lesser than the jToken value because of the interest rate, which varies from time to time.

First one has to activate the jToken as a collateral, after which you then click on the token you wish to borrow and input the amount you wish to borrow which musnt be greater than the jToken available.

Under what condition is liquidation triggered?

Liquidation is triggered whenever the risk of an account gets to 80-100, to avoid liquidity it is either one pays out of the debt one owes or add more collateral to the portfolio. Below are the risk value in just lend

0 - 35 signifies that the account is at a low risk and is eligible to borrow more. This is a healthy account.

36_60 means the account is at medium risk, such account can still borrow more but should be conscious not to borrow more than it can take.

61-79 this signifies high risk which isn't too healthy for the a count due to volatility so as not to run into liquidation

80-100 extremely high risk, it is either one pays of the debt he owes or adds more collateral to his account so as to reduce the risk of liquidation.

My Account Status(Risk value) after the completion of my supply and borrow, my risk value was at 54.46% which is under medium risk. My account is safe free from liquidation.

My net APY

To calculate the net APY there is a formula given, since we will get an interest for first supplying and Net APY = [Summation of (Value of Supplied Token × Supply APY) - summation of (Value of Borrowed Token × Borrow APY) ] ÷ Value of Total Supply.
Net APY = ($0.12 × 4.62%) - ($0.056 × 1.85) ÷$ 0.12
Net APY = 3.76%

To repay & unlock your asset in JustLend,

it's the same technique with how to borrow, but this time around after clicking borrow, you will then click on repay. After clicking on repay you will input the amount of token you wish to repay then click on proceed, if the transaction is confirmed your token you used as collateral will be unlock for you to use for other transaction.
