It has been a while since I've submitted my homework tasks here in the academy due to other important matters to do. I really missed the academy that is why I am here now to share again my thoughts regarding the topic that has been shared by one of our professors, Prof. @yousafharoonkhan. Introduction

As we are now in the cryptocurrency world, there were lots of innovations and changes that everyone will be benefited most especially if we are into Social Media platforms. We all know that almost all people of the world are now on Social Media that is the reason, Social Media is a trend not only in the usual use of a platform but also in the Cryptocurrency world. In this homework task, we will be going to know some important ideas and information on decentralized and centralized Social Media platforms and we will identify what is the future.

What are Decentralized and Centralized Social Media Platforms and it's differences.

Let us first discuss what are Decentralized and Centralized Social Media Platforms and it's differences.

Decentralized Social Media is a platform or application which allows its user to control all its transactions. This means that a user is free to perform anything in his/her account, there is no higher position or a single authority that can control the account. All our transactions were safe from the access of other users or the higher authority. The best thing about a Decentralized Social Media platform is being free from the access of other users ever the owner or creator of the platform unless you trust that person. Being free is the thing we can do here in the Crypto world to keep us away from compromising our accounts.

Unlike the Centralized Social Media platform, the main access of the account is controlled by the main authority or simply the owner or creator of the platform. This probably means that all our data will stored and kept and can be seen by the higher authority of the platform. They have to choose to block our account and will let us not be able to use it again. This means that we are not free in using the platform for everything is being monitored.

Which One is The Future of Social media? Decentralized or centralized Social media.

In my own opinion regarding this question that asks, Which One is The Future of Social Media? Decentralized or Centralized Social Media, for me, is Decentralized Social Media for based on my own experience a platform which is a Decentralized allows me to do anything without the control of higher authority of the platform, an example of this is Steemit. As I was using the Steemit platform, I was able to post whatever I want to post without any restriction from the owner or creator of the platform. It a future on Social Media for it allows us to freely express our ideas, thoughts, and more. Unlike the Centralized Social Media platform, I have several experiences that will let me say it is not a future, an example of this is on my Facebook account. As of this writing, I have already created a total of 3 accounts on Facebook for my account is being compromised several times already and sometimes being block by the higher authority without, prior notice, definitely it is not safe for me because I have lots of pictures and other data saved and I cannot access my account anymore. That is the reason, I rather choose a Decentralized Social Media Platform for the future rather than the Centralized Social Media Platforms.

How Steemit decentralization social media is best than Twitter and Facebook.

I have mentioned that the best example of a Decentralized Social Media Platform is Steemit. I will rather choose Steemit than the centralized social media platform like Twitter and Facebook. The best thing about Steemit is that we are in control of our account for we are the only ones who can access it using all our Private Keys unless you gave it to someone you fully give your trust. No one can able to access your account without your keys, even the higher authority of the platform. With regards to Twitter and Facebook, anything that we have stored in the platform will also be seen by the higher authority which is not safe for me.

How do Steemit social media change the lives of millions of its users?

For the information of everyone, I started Steemit way back in 2017, and at that time Steemit is a trend. Though I don't have enough knowledge about Steemit at the time I still see that the platform really change the lives of Million of its users. Steemit changed the lives of its users through it projects that has been implemented which is its main service of blogging which allow its user get rewarded to everything has been posted in the platform. Through the service they've created will allow its user to earn for free without any investment which is a big help for their users. I do remember the time I've started Steemit, it really helps me a lot for that time I can even earn for free and can help me even in my studies.

How can we make money with Steemit's decentralized social media?

Now, let us discuss shortly how can we earn from Steemit's decentralized social media. As mentioned above, the main service that Steemit has is blogging which allows its users to earn for free. The best thing a user should understand that Steemit is not a guaranteed platform for us to earn that will help enough our living for it takes effort and dedication to get started. As you are a new user of the platform, the very first thing to do is to introduce ourselves in the platform and the community that we can introduce ourselves is in Newcomer's Community for in this community all the new users are required to do the tasks for newcomers and it is a way for a newcomer know the basic thing to know in Steemit.

Another thing we should know is the factor our blog will have for a chance to be supported by a whale or other user of the platform. This factor should be, be creative and make a post of your own and definitely no to plagiarism. Plagiarism is highly prohibited in the platform as it discourages for a user to apply. Be original as possible and make a post that is very interesting. Remember that patience is a virtue, which means if you don't have enough support on your posts, never give up and the time will come that you will get enough supports from other users.

How to create communities on Steemit social media?

Lastly, I will be going to show a simple guide for us to create our own community here on the Steemit Social Media platform.

STEP 1. Just type https://steemit.com/communities then click **Create Community. Then you will be redirected to Steemit Wallet Page to create the community.

Another option to create a community is in your Steenit Wallet. Just login to your Steemit Wallet and go to the Communities option.

STEP 2. Now, it now time to create our community. Just choose your desired title and a short description o the community.

Reminder: You must have at least 3 Steem in your wallet to successfully creates your community.

After you click Next, you will now see the Owner Name and Password that we can use to log in on Steemit. Make sure to keep it safe before you click Create Community.

STEP 3. Now after you have to click the Create Community button, it now time for you to pay 3 Steem to create the community.

After you click Ok, you will now have successfully created a community.

The next step to do is click on Get Started, then you will be redirected to the Amazing Photos Community that I've created and I can now post anything there.

Conclusion

The Social Media platform has been given a big impact on each and every one of us most especially the centralized social media platforms for it definitely a part of our daily lives but for me, I will recommend to everyone the Decentralized Social Media platform like Steemit for it is safer and will allow us to earn for free. But as a reminder for everyone, in everything that we do here in the cyber universe either the usual type of social media like Facebook or in what I recommend Steemit, we have all the choice but ready to whatever happens in our account. We are all liable for we agreed to any condition but above all this will serve as experience to us.

This would be my homework task from @yousafharoonkhan's Week 5. I've appreciate all the efforts and information I've got from the lesson and I'm looking forward to the next lesson next week.
