INTRODUCTION

Before we talk about token redenomination it will be nice we know what token itself means, token is a vitual special currency created by blockchain project, the token represents so many things including fungible, and assets which are tradeble. Crypto token as I may call it is basically used to fundraise crowd sales by so doing interchangeable for one another.

Token is perhaps created, distributed, sold, in circulation they do that through the ICO which mean initial coin offering process which involves funding of projects. Token represents various assets that has basic use and they are been found in a block-chain technology.

Tokens resides in their own blockchain, blockchain itself are ledger that stores various informations in blocks that works in peers along with each other, by saying this crypto tokens signifies a fractional unit of value, crypto has various encryption and it's cryptographic technique is superb it helps to guide public-keys, and various hash functions. This now leads us to what we call Token redenomination.

Explain what is Token Redenomination in your personal opinion?

Token redenomination is a process that involves the change of a coin in circulation, one factor that usually contributes to token redenomination is inflation, when a coin or a currency banknote, is been faced with inflation it reduces the currency value thereby making it to be very small thereby only large value Courtesy the currency will then be in circulation.

This is exaltly what cryptocurrencies usually experiences, when the value increases you see more liquidity in the market, so many people will like to invest, some will thus sell their various assets the market will experience an uprise at that specific moment, but when there is inflation in the market you find out that the rate of transactions will reduce and there won't be enough liquidity in the market, the value of cryptocurrency assets will totally reduce, Because it has lost liquidity.

When this occurs something has to change and it is the name of the currency, redenomination also can be done with other concise reasons like when changing currency for example from naira, and also during decimalisation.

What distinguishes it from currency or other assets redenominations?

There are various factors that distinguishes redenomination from from currency or other assets and I will highlight then one after the other.

Redenomination has a huge impact on the counties exchange rate, that has a relationship courtesy other currencies caused by inflation.	Redenomination as a result of other assets like the Crypto assets is basically decentralized, thereby decisions are not taken from a central authority.
When there is inflation the monitory value decreases, at this stage you can say political reasons is involved this will decrease the currency value.	Redenomination will only take center stage when Token acquires too many purchasing strength and at the moment loosing liquidity.
We have some fantastic benefits that comes with currency redenomination, this includes the massive improvement intense of Transactions routine, when banknotes are been substituted in other for new ones to be issued, trust me it brings about economic transformation.	other assets will have to wait untill the developer takes decision to redenominate the token so that price can be affordable for purchase. Let's take crypto token for example, it can be redenominated so as to provide fame for affordability, thereby making the price to be cheaper.

Mention the advantages and disadvantages of Token Redenomination

Mentioning Advantages and disadvantages of token redenomination is just like knowing the pros, and the cons, it's interesting let's kick start.

Advantages	Disadvantages
When token is redenominated the value of the cryptocurrency is recalibrated, as a result of change in the buying power of that particular currency.	when there is a very high increase in price, the liquidity pooped into the market all round will decrease.
Token is perhaps created, sold, and circulated, through the initial coin offering, this involves the funding of projects so if it been redenominated it gives a limelight to fundraising projects all round.	Eventually when Crypto token is been redenominated, it's fungibility process decreases and this may cause a set-back as a result of investors that may want to invest courtesy the token.
If a cryptocurrency token is been redenominated, it gives investors the opportunity to buy enough token with huge capital because the value of the token has been reduced by so doing the token can be kept for long and gain more value along the procees.	in other hands so many investors can't purchase token whose value is been reduced they will rather purchase token with higher value thereby leaving the particular token, they might think the higher the value of a token the higher profit they make in return.

Do all cryptocurrency projects need to do Token Redenomination? Explain in your personal opinion.

To answer the question straight ahead I think NO, all cryptocurrency don't have to be redenominated, as we know when a cryptocurrency token increases at a very high price the liquidity in the token or the transaction power will thus decrease, I love it that way but when it now experiences redenomination you find out that investors with little Fiat will now have the opportunity to key in.

For me if you are big I prefer you remain big, let's take for exampleBitcoin, we all know that BTC, is the father of all token, it literally controll's all other token put together, now let's say BTC now experiences redenomination that means it's value will then be reduced just to enable small investors to invest in it, for me it doesn't make sense, same thing applicable to other Crypto assets.

I think every Crypto assets should maintain their statusco the way they are because each crypto has their standard value, let's say steem, is been redenominated you will find out that the value will reduce drastically and those who have it in bulk will loose because it will then be transacted at a very lower rate. So for me I think all cryptocurrency assets don't need to be redenominated.

Nice question I will be going with how to swap NPFX to PUNDIX. And the steps to executing this will be showned all round, let's keep the ball rolling.

Step1

• Here I'm trying to swap NPXS to PUNDIX, using f(x)wallet, first I downloaded the wallet from the Google play store, and I installed it.

• At this stage I created a wallet, and backed it up with my recovery phase, password and everything confidential. If you have an existing wallet you can thus restore it too.

• NPSX exists is an ERC-20, that exists on the Etherium network, and it's ranking at #4664 by Market capitalization. Looking down below you will find the wallet address intact there.

• This is the final stage, since NPXS, is built on Etherium blockchain, so Etherium is static you can only swap for Etherium to another crypto assets.

• I choosed swapping from Etherium to USDT I imputed 10 Etherium, and automatically it gave me #29294.78 value of USDT.

The token I choosed in question4 is NPXS at this time of writting it's value is pretty little and it's worth investigating in, I said so because you can buy it now and leave it for a long time and it will appreciate in value, it's totally a long time investment if you ask me.

As at the time of writting this post NPXS, is ranked at #4663, and it's price is ranging at 0.004399, a reduction of -0.85%.

This is a chart of pundi x [old token] to USD chart, from the chart you will understand that the trend-lines are low which clearly states that the token is experiencing a bearish phase, the chart is a 1day chart.

Pundi x is a token built on the Etherium blockchain and it's motive is minimize the the risk and thereby making it easy and possible for people to purchase goods and services with the use of cryptocurrency token.

Just as I stated earlier the price of pundi x, is on the decrease and it has fallen and a reduction of 1.70%, in the previous 7days, the price went bearish and revolving around 0.45%, in the previous 24hrs. The fluctuations is just massive just in the last 1hrs, the price climaxed to 0.14%.bin general o think this token is a good one to invest in.

CONCLUSION

From my homework post I was able to highlight what token was all about where I told you that token is perhaps a special vitual currency created by blockchain projects, tokens in general represents so many things Including fungibility and assets which are traded over a specific period of time.

Since we now know what token is all about, I highlighted on token redenomination, and I was able to tell you that token redenomination has a specific purpose it has that is absorbing mini investors who doesn't have huge capital and basically wants huge Transactions.

Token redenomination is a process that involves changing a coin in total circulation, one key factor that contributes to token redenomination is basicallyinflation, whenever inflation is been observed it reduces currency value. I also highlighted why I think not all cryptocurrency should undergo token redenomination.
