Keys or security are equally known as password. This key can be retrieved when ever it's lost, only when it is associated with a centralised network/application. However, in a decentralized application, once a key is lost, it can not be retrieve again.
Now the question is, how can a user safeguard his key? In dApp, there are different ways in which a user can secure his keys. Some of the examples include:
• You can safe the key in a vault.
• By writing it down on a sheet of paper and making sure that the paper is safe.
• Always memorize the key
• You can equally safe the key in your phone through the process of screen shorting but note that it's not all keys that are allowed to be screenshot.
• As a user of centralized application, you can safe your keys/password in your G-mail address for you to get easy access to it. This Centralized application may include Facebook, twitter, etc.
But in a decentralized application, you can safeguard your password by writing it down in a sheet of paper. As a user of a decentralized network, you are not advice to safe your password online because it might be access by fraudsters.
For a user to have access to Cryptocurrency, he/she must have a secret/private key.
When ever private/secret key is mention, we mean the whole key such as private key, Mnemonic key and keystore file.
Mnemonic key
Mnemonic key is a set of unencrypted secret keys generated for user to be able to have access to their Cryptocurrwncy account. This keys are sometime called seed phrase.
When an account is created, the Mnemonic key is always generated and it is composed of 12 to 21 words. The key word has a generated order which a user can't predict. Note, this key words are token from a fixed vocabulary.
Private key
This key is always long and it is made up of alphanumeric.
Keystore file
Keystone file is an encrypted form of a secret/private key. Note that the keystore file is equally known as UTC file. This represent your private key and personal password. However, the combination of your private key and personal password forms a keystore file which is used in safeguarding your dApp.

It is very essential for you to know or have the knowledge of the three types of private keys we have and each of this keys are complex and of different dimension.
You can make a mistake when writing down a private key, so caution should be taken when writing it, in order to eliminate mistakes because of the lengthy of the key and it is made up of alphanumeric. This equally applies when storing your keystore.
The Mnemonic key is the most comfortable type of key, compared to the above mention keys, but you need to take time to write it down accordingly as it's generated.
Sample of Mnemonic key.
The Mnemonic key is the most comfortable to maintaining my Tronlink wallet as discussed earlier. This key is simpler to manage and secure on like other keys.
The Private and keystore when saving, you might easily make a mistake but in Mnemonic key, it is difficult to make a mistake.
Keys or security are equally known as password and this keys can be retrieved when ever it's lost. This is only in a centralized network application.
In a decentralized application, once a key is lost, it can not be retrieved again. Here you can safeguard your password by writing it down in a sheet of paper.
