• What is a Cryptocurrency ?

Cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency based on Blockchain and the type of cryptocurrency that was first created was Bitcoin. So until now bitcoin is called the King or Mother of All Cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrency also uses a decentralized blockchain network based on blockchain technology, because every transaction that occurs in each cryptocurrency will be recorded on each blockchain.

So that transactions using Cryptocurrencies are currently very easy and safe to do anywhere, because transactions using Virtual Currency are different from transactions using Ketas Currency.

Transactions using virtual currencies or cryptocurrencies will be recorded in their transaction history in the blockchain system, while paper currency is still manually recorded in banking.

Cryptography is a tool or method to keep messages safe. Then cryptography was developed to be used as online financial transactions. As is the case with cryptocurrencies that use Cryptography to secure each transaction.

So that the transactions that we do using Cryptocurrency are very safe and reach the recipient without any interference from third parties or other parties.

The security of transactions using Cryptocurrency is guaranteed because it uses a cryptographic system, so it can be ensured that there will never be counterfeiting of transactions in the blockchain system.

How does it make cryptocurrencies secure ?

Actually, what makes cryptocurrency safe is because an information or transaction that occurs is only recorded using the Cryptography System so that no third party can know it.

Transactions between 2 accounts will be recorded with blocks and hashes, so that no one can see our personal data and other people can only see the sender's address and the recipient's wallet.

To explore the Genesis Steem Block, I use stages to explain it to make it easier to understand.

1). Stage 1

We only need to go to the steemitworld.org site, then after it opens, we only need to click block explorer.

2). Stage 2

After clicking block explorer, a block box will appear with the words number 1, and we just need to click OK.

3). Stage 3

After we click Ok, then all information about Block 1 will be displayed as shown below :

Next we will enter as evidence, the thing we need to do is click on the place of entry in the upper right corner.

After that a box will appear asking us to enter a steemit username and password, namely our private post key.

Next we only need to enter the data that is requested to login, namely the username and private posting key. Then just click OK.

After clicking OK, then we have successfully logged into our account on Steemworld.org.
