what is the Genesis of a Bockchain.
The genesis block is the first Ever block of a blockchain. When we say genesis according to the English dictionary Genesis means
The origin, start or the point at which somthing comes into existance.
We can also say that a Genesis block is the origin, start or the point where every other blockchain came into existance.
It is called the foundation of all other blocks in the blockchain.
A block is a degital containers that stores data or informations. When the first one known as the genesis is full another is created linking to the first one but with a personalised Hash.
The first(genesis) block is known as block 0 or 1 in some cases.

Bitcion Genesis block is the ever proof-of-work block chain system. It is the first bitcion block created in it's blockchain. It was launched by Satoshi in 2009 making it fisrt transaction of 50btc.
This is the ever first created bitcoin blockchain that birthed other blocks in the bitcoin blockchain that can be identified with there unique hash tags.
Significance
It marked a new generation of decentralized system of transaction. Bitcoin is the first ever successful crypto currency. You can't talk about crypto without menstioning Bitcoin, because of the success of this genesis block, over 10,000 crypto currencies has come into existance.
It created a model for other blocks to follow. The truth is that you can't talk about second if there was no first. Because the first was done right that is why other could stand the test of time.
It gave birth to the blockchain technology that has blessed the world in no small measure. It reawoke this technology that has been asleep for years.

If you are not signed in already, click on the top bar where you see sign out and put the approprate key, because am already sign in that is why you can see sign out instead of sign in and my profile picture is on display on the top bar beside the sign out.
When you click block explorer click okey to block 1
then you can go ahead and explor You would be able to see the details of the Genesis Block.
