Saludos estimados amigos de #steemitcryptoacademy!!, antes que todo quiero agradecer a @steemcurator01 y @steemcurator02 por esta gran iniciativa que me ha permitido aprender mucho con respecto a las criptomonedas, y la blockchain. En este post estoy realizando la asignación colocada por el profesor @ pelon53 con respecto a los tokens, para ello estaré realizando mi asignación en relación a los tipos de tokens.!

Greetings dear friends of #steemitcryptoacademy!!!, first of all I want to thank @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 for this great initiative that has allowed me to learn a lot regarding cryptocurrencies, and blockchain. In this post I am performing the assignment placed by the teacher @ pelon53 regarding tokens, for this I will be performing my assignment in relation to the types of tokens!!!!

El desarrollo de esta actividad la realice utilizando mis propias palabras luego de la lectura de la lección así como del contenido revisado para tal fin cuyas referencias se pueden encontrar al final del post.

The development of this activity was done using my own words after reading the lesson as well as the revised content for this purpose whose references can be found at the end of the post.

La verdad que en este tiempo que he estado trabajando en este mundo de la blockchain y criptomonedas, la diferencia entre estar últimas y los Tokens, así como su definición pueden quedar en un limbo por el uso indiscriminado de los términos en un mundo dinámico como lo es el de las redesdescentralizadas, por este sentido muchas veces se podrían confundir el token como una criptomoneda, porque eambas son creadas en la blockchain y muchos de los tokens también pueden adquirir un valor.

The truth is that in this time that I have been working in this world of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, the difference between the latter and the tokens, as well as its definition can be in limbo by the indiscriminate use of the terms in a dynamic world as is the decentralized networks, in this sense many times you could confuse the token as a cryptocurrency, because both are created in the blockchain and many of the tokens can also acquire a value.

En este punto he aprendido que si bien ambas se crean en la blockchain existen dos marcadas diferencias, la primera es que la criptomoneda como un elemento de intercambio se crea para realizar operaciones con una blockchain creada para tal fin por lo cual es independiente de otros sistemas para su uso como moneda, dentro de las redes y distintas plataformas de intercambio, con su propio valor.

At this point I have learned that although both are created in the blockchain there are two marked differences, the first is that the cryptocurrency as an element of exchange is created to perform operations with a blockchain created for that purpose so it is independent of other systems for use as currency, within networks and various exchange platforms, with its own value.

Por otro lado el token (o ficha que sería su equivalente en español) sería un instrumento desarrollado dentro de una plataforma específica cuya función seria la de representar un elemento DENTRO DE LA PLATAFORMA pudiese ser una moneda de intercambio dentro de la plataforma para el pago de un servicio, o como acceso a sus funciones, que solo tendría valor como moneda o como representación de algún elemento del mundo externo dentro de la misma, por supuesto, su valor o representación del tipo de Token al que se este refiriendo. En este sentido se cuenta con las Security Tokens, Utility Tokens y Equity Tokens

Una particularidad de los Tokens es que usualmente se crean dentro de redes que ya se encuentran en funcionamiento, como la red ethereum (muy usada por la facilidad de creación de contratos inteligentes) o Tron por ejemplo.

Security Tokens
Como los Tokens representan elementos externos dentro de la blockchain, estos security Tokens son aquellos que representan activos financieros dentro de las redes como bonos y futuros, lo cual proporciona a las organizaciones la posibilidad de realizar transacciones de estos activos financieros de forma digital así como una posible facilidad para los inversores. Una particularidad es la que estos tokens usualmente son elementos que están regulados por muchos países por los activos que representan.

As Tokens represent external elements within the blockchain, these security Tokens are those that represent financial assets within the networks such as bonds and futures, which provides organizations with the ability to transact these financial assets digitally as well as a possible facility for investors. One particularity is that these tokens are usually items that are regulated by many countries for the assets they represent.

Esta regulación es necesaria debido al potencial de inversión que las Security tokens representan, desde este punto de vista, las mismas, responden a inversiones, que tienen como objetivo la generación de beneficios a los inversores formando parte de organizaciones, y que dependen del esfuerzo de otros, esto forma parte de la prueba de Howie, que describe las preguntas que describen si se está en presencia de una security Token, es decir en las securities tokens, se proporciona un capital, a una organización, con la esperanza de obtener ganancias a partir del esfuerzo de otros, a partir del éxito del proyecto.

This regulation is necessary due to the investment potential that security tokens represent, from this point of view, the same, respond to investments, which aim to generate profits to investors as part of organizations, and that depend on the efforts of others, this is part of the Howie test, which describes the questions that describe whether it is in the presence of a security token, ie in the securities tokens, capital is provided to an organization, in the hope of obtaining profits from the efforts of others, from the success of the project.

En este sentido, aparecen las STO (Security Token Ofert) u ofertas de Security tokens que muchas veces son manejadas por plataformas que se especializan en tal fin como Polymath, Securitize, Harbor,y tZero muchas de estas plataformas incluyen sus propios protocolos para la creación de estas Securities Tokens, esto facilita a los creadores la generación de tokens que cumplan las características demandadas por las regulaciones, mientras que en el caso del usuario genera confianza.

In this sense, the STO (Security Token Ofert) or Security token offers appear, which are often managed by platforms that specialize in this purpose such as Polymath, Securitize, Harbor, and tZero, many of these platforms include their own protocols for the creation of these Securities Tokens, this facilitates the creators the generation of tokens that meet the characteristics demanded by the regulations, while in the case of the user it generates confidence.

Dentro de las compañias que se utilizan como plataforma para el desarrollo de las STO destaca tZero por ser una organización creada en el año 2018 con la ayuda de su propia oferta inicial de security tokens, en este sentido la plataforma obtuvo un financiamieno inicial por partede inversores sobre 134 millones de dólares en su STO, y se presenta como un mercado orientado al desarrollo de STO entonces la plataforma no solo facilita la creación de estos tokens sino que también su comercialización, la ventaja competitiva de la organización es la proveer a sus clientes de servicios de asesoramiento, y verificación de sus proyectos dentro de los estándares expresados en las regulaciones aplicadas a las STO.

Among the companies that are used as a platform for the development of STOs, tZero stands out for being an organization created in 2018 with the help of its own initial offering of security tokens, in this sense the platform obtained initial funding from investors of over 134 million dollars in its STO, and presents itself as a marketplace oriented to STO development then the platform not only facilitates the creation of these tokens but also their commercialization, the competitive advantage of the organization is to provide its clients with advisory services, and verification of their projects within the standards expressed in the regulations applied to STOs.

Tienen una aplicación movil que puede ser descargada en el plataforma android o IOS el security token de la plataforma es el tzrop que actualmente tiene una valoración de 5,7 $ y una capitalización de mercado de 118,597,973 $ desarrollado mediante la ethereum blockchain por lo que es un token ERC-20.

They have a mobile application that can be downloaded on the android or IOS platform the security token of the platform is the tzrop which currently has a valuation of $5.7 and a market capitalization of $118,597,973 developed through the ethereum blockchain so it is an ERC-20 token.

Utility Tokens
Estos son los Tokens utilizados por las plataformas para acceder a los distintos comandos que representan sus servicios, es como una llave para poder entrar al sistema, o un medio de pago por el servicio de esa sola plataforma. Por ejemplo para quien no están familiarizados dentro de la blockchain se me ocurren el de las tiendas de videojuegos de Arcade, por un lado se pretende que las personas tengan acceso a los juegos sin la intervención de un tercero pero no se quiere que las personas y máquinas estén llenas de dinero lo que las haría blanco de robos, por lo cual se crean Tokens, que se obtienen por un costo en dinero fiat, para poder usar las máquinas, igual pasa con muchas plataformas de la blockchain, se utilizan estos tókens para que los usuarios puedan interactuar con la plataforma.

These are the tokens used by the platforms to access the different commands that represent their services, it is like a key to be able to enter the system, or a means of payment for the service of that single platform. For example for those who are not familiar with the blockchain I can think of the Arcade video game stores, on the one hand it is intended that people have access to the games without the intervention of a third party but do not want people and machines are full of money which would make them targets for theft, so Tokens are created, which are obtained for a cost in fiat money, to use the machines, the same happens with many platforms of the blockchain, these tokens are used so that users can interact with the platform.

Muchas de las ICO (initial coin offerts) ofertas iniciales de monedas, ofrecen a quienes estén dispuestos a invertir este tipo de tokens, y si el inversor no está en conocimiento de las diferencias de los tokens puede estar adquiriendo una utility token con la esperanza de tener algún valor de la organización, cuando lo que obtuvo fue una herramienta para el uso de la plataforma, en este sentido, los utility tokens no responden a las mismas regulaciones que las security tokens, por lo que fácilmente pueden ser generados por cualquier plataforma utilizando contratos inteligentes de ethereum por ejemplo sin que haya un proyecto fiable detrás dando lugar a la posibilidad de estafas.

Many of the ICOs (initial coin offerings) offer to those willing to invest these types of tokens, and if the investor is not aware of the differences of the tokens, he may be acquiring a utility token in the hope of having some value from the organization, in this sense, utility tokens do not respond to the same regulations as security tokens, so they can easily be generated by any platform using ethereum smart contracts for example without a reliable project behind giving rise to the possibility of scams.

The Graph
Existen una gran cantidad de utilities tokens en elmundo de la blockchain, muchos pueden hablar por ejemplo del Basic attention token que permite la recompensa de los creadores de contenidos en el navegador brave, en este caso me gustaría comentar con respecto a un token que ha sido muy interesante en los últimos meses como es the Graph o GRT. The graph es básicamente un protocolo de indexación que proporciona acceso a la información de desde la blockchain ethereum a través de su interfaz con el propósito de facilitar la creación de Dapps dentro de la red, esto mediante la creación de nodos de indexación o subgraphs que permiten la entrega de datos de la blockchain de forma verificable.

There are a lot of utilities tokens in the blockchain world, many can speak for example of the Basic attention token that allows the reward of content creators in the brave browser, in this case I would like to comment regarding a token that has been very interesting in recent months as is the Graph or GRT. The graph is basically an indexing protocol that provides access to information from the ethereum blockchain through its interface with the purpose of facilitating the creation of Dapps within the network, this by creating indexing nodes or subgraphs that allow the delivery of data from the blockchain in a verifiable way.

Este proceso se desarrolla mediante los indexadores , curadores, delegadores, y consumidores finales quienes interactúan operando los nodos, verificando la información, proporcionando liquidez a la operación y consumiendo respectivamente, el token GRT se obtiene como recompensa a los indexadores y como ganancia a las delegaciones proporcionadas en las operaciones del sistema.

This process is developed through indexers , curators, delegators, and end consumers who interact by operating the nodes, verifying the information, providing liquidity to the operation and consuming respectively, the GRT token is obtained as a reward to the indexers and as a gain to the delegations provided in the system operations.

Este Token actualmente tiene un valor de 1.29$ con una capitalización de mercado de $1.601.033.851 USD, un suministro circulante de 1.245.666.867 GRT monedas y un máximo de 10.057.044.431 GRT según coinmarkecap.

This token currently has a value of $1.29 with a market capitalization of $1,601,033,851 USD, a circulating supply of 1,245,666,867 GRT coins and a maximum of 10,057,044,431 GRT according to coinmarkecap.

Equity Token
Se relacionan con los security Tokens en que son la representación de activos, en este caso de acciones de las organizaciones lo que los hace atractivos, para distintos inversores, por su facilidad de uso, su seguridad, proporcionada por la blockchain, así como regulaciones más flexibles que a las acciones regulares, en el entorno blockchain podrían representar gobernanza de las distintas plataformas, o forma de comunicación entre una empresa muy grande y sus usuarios/ahora socios.Otra diferencia entre ambos tokens esta relacionado a su destino final, mientras las security tokens pudieran usarse como colateral las equity tokens se diluyen en acciones de la organización! Estos tokens se ofrecen en las (ETO) Equity tokens Offering.

They are related to security tokens in that they are the representation of assets, in this case shares of the organizations which makes them attractive, for different investors, because of their ease of use, their security, provided by the blockchain, as well as more flexible regulations than regular shares, in the blockchain environment they could represent governance of the different platforms, or form of communication between a very large company and its users/now partners.Another difference between both tokens is related to their final destination, while security tokens could be used as collateral, equity tokens are diluted in shares of the organization! These tokens are offered in Equity tokens Offering (ETO).

Neufund

Neufund es una plataforma que sirve como ecosistema descentralizado para el financiamiento de proyectos por parte de inversores que pretende la interacción directa entre inversionistas y emprendedores, a través de la blockchain, lo interesante es que el inversor también se involucra dentro de la plataforma como inversor. Esta se tiene el token ERC-20 neumark(NEU) que actualmente se cotiza a un valor de 0.31$ con un sumistro de 66,020,166.57434506 con 0 en circulación de acuerdo a coinmarketcap.

Neufund is a platform that serves as a decentralized ecosystem for the financing of projects by investors that seeks direct interaction between investors and entrepreneurs, through the blockchain, the interesting thing is that the investor is also involved within the platform as an investor. This one has the token ERC-20 neumark(NEU) which is currently trading at a value of $0.31 with a sum of 66,020,166.57434506 with 0 in circulation according to coinmarketcap

Conclusion

En conclusión se puede apreciar que los Tokens como elementos, que permiten la representatividad dentro de la blockchain tienen una gran utilidad para los proyectos de la misma, no necesariamente como medios de intercambio, ya que para ello están las criptomonedas, sino como herramientas para la inversión, gobernanza y el uso de los servicios dentro de las plataformas.

In conclusion, it can be seen that tokens as elements that allow representation within the blockchain are very useful for blockchain projects, not necessarily as a means of exchange, since that is what cryptocurrencies are for, but as tools for investment, governance and the use of services within the platforms.

Considerando lo anterior, para el uso se emplean las Utility Tokens, que pueden ser desarrolladas sin regulaciones, y compartidas por las plataformas en ofertas iniciales de monedas, con un alto riesgo para quien las adquiere, estas no representan alguna propiedad o afiliación al proyecto, su valor depende del uso de esta moneda para los servicios de la plataforma mientras que las security y Equity Tokens, si actúan como activos financieros, cuya mayor diferencia se encuentra en lo relacionado a la regulación y representación de las monedas como inversión en el proyecto, lo que implica una propiedad dentro de los mismo, y cuyo valor dependerá del que obtenga la plataforma a futuro. Para quienes deseen adquirir tokens es imprescindible conocer esta diferenciación de forma adecuada para estas claros en qué tipo de elemento se está invirtiendo el capital para tomar las decisiones adecuadas según sea el caso.

Considering the above, Utility Tokens are used for use, which can be developed without regulations, and shared by the platforms in initial coin offerings, with a high risk for those who acquire them, these do not represent any property or affiliation to the project, its value depends on the use of this currency for the services of the platform while the security and Equity Tokens, if they act as financial assets, whose main difference is in relation to the regulation and representation of the coins as investment in the project, which implies a property within the same, and whose value will depend on what the platform obtains in the future. For those who wish to acquire tokens, it is essential to know this differentiation properly in order to be clear about the type of element in which the capital is being invested in order to make the appropriate decisions as the case may be.
