Saludos estimados amigos de #steemitcryptoacademy!!, antes que todo quiero agradecer a @steemcurator01 y @steemcurator02 por esta gran iniciativa que me ha permitido aprender mucho con respecto a las criptomonedas, y la blockchain. El día de hoy estaré trabajando con la asignación colocada por el profesor @sapwood con respecto a las billeteras, sus tipos y características.

Primero que todo debo decir que hasta el momento de realizar estos cursos no tenía una conocimiento profundo de las criptobilleteras, solo sabía, que en una billetera descentralizada si no se tiene la llave se pierden el acceso a la cuenta, ya que el usuario es el único responsable de su uso, y no puede acudir a un ente que le permita la restauración de sus datos, su uso como elementos para el resguardo de los activos o criptomonedas, en este caso,las cuales no tiene forma física y por lo tanto están dentro de la blockchain.

First of all I must say that until the time of these courses I did not have a deep knowledge of cryptocurrencies, I only knew that in a decentralized wallet if you do not have the key you lose access to the account, since the user is solely responsible for its use, and can not go to an entity that allows the restoration of their data, its use as elements for the safeguarding of assets or cryptocurrencies, in this case, which has no physical form and therefore are within the blockchain.

Hasta los momentos he utilizado la wallet de steemit, y tengo cuentas, en trustwallet, y atomicwallet, así como en las exchanges binance y coinbase, todas billeteras de software, hasta hace unos meses no conocía las billeteras de harware, pero he leído con respecto a la Ledger y me parece que tiene unas características, interesantes, que como nuevo usuario debo conocer, en una primera instancia este tipo de billetera genera la sensación de contacto o de posesión de la scripto, ya que están almacenadas en un dispositivo tangible, y que puede ser resguardado, sin estar conectado al internet, eso pos supuesto acarrea una inversión inicial o compra de la billetera, que no ocurre en las de software que he tenido la oportunidad de probar, evidentemente, su costo se debe a la proposición de una mayor seguridad de las cripto y hasta un mejor resguardo, ya que es más sencillo tener un espacio para resguardar la billetera, que solo la clave en un papel. En respuesta a la pregunta para mi punto de vista es evidente que la billetera de harware tiene mejor seguridad.

What are the important points to consider when you deal with an Exchange (centralized) Wallet & Decentralized wallet. How do you secure/restore both types?

En mi caso con un poco uso de este tipo de billeteras debo tomar en cuenta eluso que se la va a dar a estas monedas, al corto o mediano plazo, ya que si se requiere realizar transacciones a cotro plazo eso activos con los cuales se va a realizar la inversión deben estar integrados en la billetera dela Exchange para poder utilizarlos o intercambiarlos en la brevedad, por otro lado si se desea holdear las monedas, es más seguro tratar de mantener los seguros dentro de una billetera descentralizada, aunque con la congelamiento que esto pueda representar.

Con respecto a la restauración de ambos tipos de billetera, básicamente la diferencia se presenta en el aspecto centralizado de las exchanges más conocidas, y el descentralizado de las billeteras, en este sentido para realizar la recuperación de una cuenta en una Exchange centralizada se puede realizar mediante una solicitud a través del correo electrónico para que el ente centralizado permita la recuperación de la cuenta y generación de un correo, es decir ellos custodian nuestra cuenta tal y como lo hace un banco por lo tanto la recuperación de la cuenta tiene un proceso similar,

En realidad mientras desarrollo el escrito y reviso mi cripto billetera Trustwallet, observo que este tipo de billeteras, es un paso hacia adelante en el desarrollo de la tecnología para almacenar criptomonedas, ya que son unas criptobilleteras, que ofrecen las principales características de las billeteras descentralizadas, como lo es su clave privada, y la no custodia de nuestras monedas por parte de terceros, pero que son compatibles con contratos inteligentes, y diversas Dapps, por lo que permite la interacción de nuestras billeteras desde extensiones de navegadores, o la apertura y uso de las Dapps desde nuestra app de la billetera, lo cual hace más dinámica su experiencia y el uso de nuestras criptos des de este entorno seguro y descentralizado. Esta compatibilidad, también proporciona flexibilidad, y pudiendo este tipo de billeteras, albergar nuevos contratos, nuevos proyectos, ampliando el espectro de altcoins que podemos almacenar sin tener que tener varias billeteras.

Por ejemplo en la dapp de trust wallet se tiene una sección de dapps, en la cual aparecen una serie de aplicaciones de diversas áreas, en las cuales se pueden ingresar desde la billetera e interactuar con ellas, estas se expanden cada vez más en variedad y desarrollo, mejorando la experiencia del usuario.
