My fellow steemians, it's really a pleasure to me to participate in this weeks lecture. Every week I keep learning more new things about the crypto world. Today I will be attempting the assignment task from the lecture delivered by professor
@yohan2on. In his lecture this week he talked about blockchain video game.
Before, this time, I never knew that you can actually earn crypto via playing a video game. But I want to appreciate the steemitblog and the lecturer for such a wonderful lecture. Today I have the knowledge of blockchain video game.
The invention of blockchain games have given game lovers the opportunity to earn crypto simple by playing games. Players earn token while playing games and then uses this resource to purchase other wepeons and then can sell it to other game players. As already explained by the professor, the blockchain video games gives it users absolute control over their asset in form of in game tokens with out any form of interference from the game developers.

The very first blockchain cuties universe is developed and lunched in the year 2018. This cuties universe was developed with the help of 5 other different blockchains. These blockchain that form the cuties universe are Tron, Neo, Eos, Ethereum and Matic blockchain.
The cuties universe is a game that features among others characters some unique creatures. This creatures can be dogs, cats, pigs etc. In the game this creatures are called cuties. There are some basic operations that are carried out in this game, this operations include trade, breed cuties and also collect cuties etc.

One of the features of blockchain cuties is a pet. Since it is a game you will need a pet to represent you in the virtual world. As I earlier stated that this pet in the game is called cuties. This cuties is owned by the player that is it is representing the player. This cuties is always purchased from the in-game marketplace via the process of smart contract.

Forge
This feature is responsible for modification of in-game gears. This helps to provide special abilities for the cuties through either enchanting, upgrading, repairing or creating a custom gear. For the cuties to perform better than usual, when ever they are use for any task, this modification has to be done on the forge.

As the name implies adventure, this is the section of the game where your cuties is been sent out on an adventure to fight with other cuties and at the end come back either as a winner or a looser.

This refer to the in-game token which is actually different from every other form of currency. The token used in the blockchain cuties game is $BCUG. This native token can be use within the platform to either purchase a cuties or perform any other transaction. Importantly, other activities can be done on the blockchain cuties universe like staking, liquidity provision etc.

Tournament is a game to be played by the cuties who met a specific requirement. This tournament gives reward to winners who come out outstandingly at the end of the game.

Based on my little understanding of the blockchain cuties I have find out some useful tips about the platform but despite the good side of the game it still have some ugly attributes. I will be listing it below.
Merit of Blockchain cuties
Since the platform was built based of 5 different blockchains, it implies that it access will be wider compare to when it is built using just one blockchain.
The interface of the game is user friendly implying that anyone both new or old can actually play the game since it provides some guides as to what to do.
The platform will also enable users to earn massive income, since the platform has room for people to stake their tokens and also provides liquidity.
The game enables you to earn a reward once you successfully accomplish your task or when you get involved in a tournament and win.
Demerit of Blockchain Cuties
The blockchain game has a very poor graphic when compared to other native game. The developers of this game do not lay attention to the graphics of the game because their interest is solely on the reward.
To fully have complete access to the game you have to invest some token either by buying cuties or staking of even providing liquidity.
No physical game is played as you will only send your cuties to adventure and wait for it to come back either as a winner or a loser. The ability of the cuties is what determined whether the pet wins or not.

My rating for the game is 3.5 on a scale of 5.
Why?
The blockchain cuties game is no doubt a game where users can earn reward with just minimum effort in place. But aside that the game does not have any form of attraction that is there is no physical engagement so that users will display their skills them selves by controlling their cuties just like the traditional game of mortal combat for instance. Therefore I recommend more work be done on the adventure as we as the tournament feature so that they can engage properly.
Conclusion
We have learnt that the Blockchain cuties is simple to use, and it's also a Dapp which gives users who play the game a reward in form of tokens. You can as well stake and also contribute to the liquidity pool there by earning other passive income. You will agree with me that the blockchain game is still coming up and sooner or later it will become very interesting and people will always be willing to participate because both their proof of work and proof of brian will be tested.
