Before I start writing about any altcoins we need to know what an altcoin is. So an Altcoin is any crypto currency which isn’t Bitcoin so any crypto currency you can think of which isn’t Bitcoin is an altcoin examples are;

Binance coin(BNB), lightcoin(LTC), Ripple(XRP),Ethereum (ETH) and many more.

Among the long list of Altcoins I choose to write about Binance coin.

What is a Binance coin? Binance is crypto currency exchange that provides the medium for exchanges of other currencies. Binance is made up of two words binary and finance.
Which was founded in 2017 by a Chinese man
Changpeng zhao. It was initially based on the Ethereum blockchain until 2019 Binance lunched their own blockchain.

Unlike other crypto currency’s Binance can’t be mined all coins were pre mined . Just like how ether functions on ethereum BNB is used for all operations on Binance.
