Previously, I would like to thank professor @alphafx for giving me the opportunity to take part in his class and this is my first class with him, from his discussion about trading and holding, I have a strong desire to continue to be here following classes and complete assignments given by the professor.

1. Do you hold coins? Talk about the type of wallet you prefer / want to keep

At the beginning of 2017 I already had 3 types of wallets, both local wallets and international wallets. The types of wallets I have are:

Indodax

I used this wallet as a transit wallet, actually in general I didn't like this type of wallet because the list of coins I owned was still very minimal at that time, but until now the number of coins that have been registered in this wallet continues to grow.

Indodax is a wallet with offices in Bali-Indonesia, I use it because it has an exchange of coins into IDR, so I can make withdrawals to my traditional account, besides that the transfer fee to a traditional account is also relatively cheap, for per transaction a fee IDR 25,000.

Poloniex

At the end of 2016 I was registered as one of the steemians, at that time in my country Indonesia, this steemit user can still be counted on the fingers. I was confused about my first withdrawal when I had some Steem and SBD in my account. At that time I only heard about poloniex and registered it for the first time to get to know this digital wallet technology.

I like Poloniex because of its low transaction fees, then I switched to another digital wallet on the grounds that some of the coins I held were no longer registered in this wallet. Then frequent maintenance made me empty all assets and move them into my Bittrex wallet

Bittrex

This wallet is very familiar to me, even though I have other wallets like Binance, I'm more likely to use this wallet. Currently, almost 40% of my assets are located here, the rest is scattered in other wallets.

With the screenshot, show you how to place a spot trade on the pair of your choice

To determine the spot, both buying and selling, we can determine the price projections on the two types of options available, namely sales and purchases. If you want to buy, select the sell order price in the price range in the green number and vice versa if you want to make a purchase you must place an order in the price range in red numbers.

The number of transactions can be adjusted according to the amount you want to make sales and purchases, which can be typed manually and you can also select the available percentage.

Holding or trading, which do you prefer and why?

I love both types of activity, both holding and tranding because they both have potential returns. This means that if you hold a number of coins for a long time, when the price increases sharply above the purchase price, the profits you get will be multiplied. Likewise with trading, there are many profit opportunities if you are able to read the movement of coins.

I have held for almost 3 years a number of coins and some of these types of coins have made a profit and there are several types of coins that have actually decreased in price
