Thank you, @yohan2on for your lecture this week on Blockchain Video Games. I have learned a lot and guess what! I played my first blockchain video game today, kudos to you.
I will be talking about Blockchain Cuties Universe Universe as you requested.
This unique blockchain game is considered the first multi-blockchain collectible game, full of adventures. It is one of the newest collectible games that offers players the opportunity to go wild by playing with the use of real and fantasy creatures, such as lizards, cats, puppies, bears, cubs, among others.
Each cutie collected or bought by a player is unique and is 100% owned by the player. Apart from collecting the cutie, the player can breed it, arm it, test its unique skills in battles and level it up for greater tasks ahead. In my case, my first intro cat cutie failed in its task because it was not properly equipped for the task.
The platform gives owners of the cuties the opportunity to sell their cutie in the in-game market through the use of smart contracts in the following blockchains: TRON, ETHEREUM, EOS and NEO. The cuties are non-fungible tokens and can be transferred and sold to other players, just like a normal crypto asset.
The following values are what the platform shares with her users:
Diversity
As the choices of players differ, the platform offers different creatures to choose from. Some people like cats, others like dogs, others like bears, among others. Thus, one can choose based on their choice or even play with all.
True Ownership
Any cutie used by the player is fully owned by the player. For example, a player using a unique cat have full ownership of it and he can transfer it or sale it any time he deems fit.
Cost Efficiency
The statistics of all cuties are stored in the blockchain with their prices in a compact form. Some of the features are also stored off-chain. This measure is used to prevent the cases of overpay by players.
Opportunities for Improvement
Each cutie asset is useful in their uniqueness. This is because any asset can be leveled up or equipped to perform better. Thus, the characteristics of each cutie can be improved upon. This way, no asset is to be thrown away because of poor performance in the game.
There are three types of cuties and they include:
Regular Cuties
These are pets that get their colors and looks from their genomes. They are regular in that they do not attract any additional bonuses by using them.
Tribute Cuties
These are stronger than regular cuties. They are tributed to modern video games, cinemas and pop culture. These pets show up when a player deduce the right gene combinations.
Unique Cuties
These are amazing looking, rare breed of pets that are impossible to be reproduced by players. Their quantities are limited and they are stronger in combat than both the regular and tribute cuties.
The payable species on the platform are cats, dogs and bears.
Cats
The popular believe that cats are lucky plays out here, in that cat here are perform some difficult tasks that other pets can’t. Besides, they are very cute and independent.
They have adventure bonus of luck +4%.
Dogs
They are loyal companions. They always strive to accomplish difficult tasks and never run away froom challenges.
Their adventure bonus is defense +2.
Bears
They are strong, fearsome and dwell in different parts of the world. They are not as graceful as cats, but they are very effective and potent during combat.
They have adventure bonus of attack +2.
As earlier stated, blockchain cuties universe is a game that can be played on Tron, Ethereum, EOS and NEO blockchains.
Furthermore, the game can be played with the use of laptop computers, desktops and mobile phones.
The features of this platform are Press, Leaderboard, Market place, Special sale, Get a Mascot and login.
The Press
This feature covers the different platforms you can read about Blockchain cuties universe. Among the press are also sites that reward players and also help players sell off their cutie assets. Among the press are blockchaincuties-co/, hackernoon.com, among others.
Leaderboard
This feature shows the top gene owners, players’ ranks and points. If you are a player your point will display on the leaderboard page.
It also shows a list of items on the menu comprising of top collectors down to top BCUG holders.

This is a place to buyer and sell cuties. It accepts assets from Ethereum, EOS, TRON, NEO and MATIC blockchains.
Here there are a lot of cuties on sale with their price tags and the blockchain you can pay with.
Special sale
This is where a unique cutie is being advertised and sold.
Get a Mascot
Here is where the famous blockchain gaming cat (Mascot) is sold.
Login
This is where a player must login to see more features like *my cuties, tournaments, forges, adventurs, $BCUG, player ID and notifications.
positive Side of the Game
1.It has a lot of attractive graphics and features.
2.There is a ready market for investors and players.
3.Each click brings a pop-up of instructions on how to perform each task till a successful play of the game.
4.It is user-friendly and flexible.
5.It has a lot of adventures.
Negative side of the Game
1.Earning is not a true test of smartness in playing because your points and earning depends on how equipped your cutie is. As such, someone with big capital to buy a unique cutie can earn high without any expertise, while someone with great expertise but low capital will earn little.
2.The features are too many and could be confusing to new users.
3.There is no provision for an offline adventure, thus people without internet in remote areas can not have access to the game.
My Rating on a Scale of 5
Based on my experience, I rate the game 4.5/5.
Blockchain video games are another opportunity to earn in the crypto space for gamers. It is important to understand that this part of crypto ecosystem has less risk than trading, since your assets can not get devalued or liquidated in the midst of market fluctuation.
If you love games, it is time to earn by doing what you love doing.
