Greetings friends, hope we all doing well today.
In this post I’ll be presenting my task 1 of the season 5 Beginners’ fixed courses initiated by Professor @sapwood.

From the 3 questions of this task, I’ll be answering question 1.
1. What is TronLink and what is TronScan? What are its uses? How do you verify a transaction status (including timestamp, resource consumption (bandwidth & energy), nos of confirmations) using TronScan—Examples, Screenshot? What are the different dApps can you explore using the TronLink wallet? Make a transaction (a micro-transaction) with Justswap or JustLend using TroLink wallet? Screenshot?

WHAT IS TRONLINK AND WHAT IS TRONSCAN? WHAT ARE ITS USES?

TRONLINK is the official Tron wallet with a web of 3.0 which simplifies access to different applications on Tron network and is available on various website like IOS, Chrome extension and others where transaction can also be done. Also it supports various tokens like TRC20, TRX and all TRC10 that can be used in mining SUN in sun.io. The TronLink can be used as a storage for Tron tokens and multiple wallets can be created. Again, its helps users to interact with Dapps like JustLend, Justswap, TronLending etc on the platform, aids users send or receive their Tron tokens such as TRC20, TRX and TRC10. It is used to vote rights that aid you build the Tron ecosystem and also can be used to freeze and unfreeze tokens.
TRONSCAN is the official website or explorer of the Tron ecosystem with a very organized and structured data base that is easy to read. It is the search engine that enables anyone to verify or interrogate any transactions on the Blockchain. It is used to create new tokens on the Blockchain, to know the validity of any wallet address, check balances of the wallet of Tron users, time and date of transaction, check a transaction status and also the cost/fee of each transaction. It equally supports resource management and contract deployment.

HOW DO YOU VERIFY A TRANSACTION STATUS (INCLUDING TIMESTAMP, RESOURCE CONSUMPTION (BANDWIDTH & ENERGY), NOS OF CONFIRMATIONS) USING TRONSCAN—EXAMPLES, SCRENSHOT?

● To verify a transaction status on TronScan, first thing you should do is type tronscan.org on the search bar of your browser and search to open the main/home page of the site.

● When the main or home page opens, you will enter the address or the transaction hash in the search bar at the top of the home page and click search.

● But since I do not have a previous hash, I scrolled down to transactions and clicked on a random transaction on the website to explain the details

On this page, we can find the following as I numbered on the picture on the right;

1. The transaction hash.
2. The status of the transaction.
3. Nos of confirmation.
4. Block number
5. Time stamp
6. Senders address
7. Recipients address
8. Transfer amount.
9. Resource consumption

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT DAPPS CAN YOU EXPLORE USING THE TRONLINK WALLET?

We talked above on how the TronLink wallet helps users to interact with different DApps and here are a few of them. These DApps according to research are up to 1,400 on the Tron network with about a volume of $12,000,000 daily transaction. They are sub-divided into GAME (such as Chainz Arena, TronGoo, CryptoFlowers and Tronman),EXCHANGE(such as JustLend used in borrowing and lending tokens on the Tron ecosystem and at low interest rates or cost, Justswap now known as Sunswap used to instantly swap tokens. For example swap TRX for USDT or swap USDT for SUN) and OTHERS(like TronLucky, NewPool and DASH Token)

MAKE A TRANSACTION (a micro-transaction) WITH JUSTSWAP OR JUST LEND USING TRONLINK WALLET? SCREENSHOT?

For this question, I will be using the TronLink Pro app I downloaded on my android and the transaction was completed with the steps below;
S1. First start by opening the app. On the very first page, click on SWAP.

S2. After clicking there, you will then be brought to the page titled swap where you fill out how many TRX you want to swap (in my screenshot it is 3). Next select the coin you want to swap your TRX for (I am using USDT but you can click on it to reveal other coins where you can choose from. After filling the information go ahead by clicking on Instant swap

S3. A confirmation page will be opened with the complete information of the transaction for you to verify (amount of USDT I will receive, rate, price impact and transaction fee). Continue by clicking on confirm

S4. Lastly, enter your password and click done

S5. When everything is complete, the transaction will appear in the records as either pending. Failed or successful.

You can equally swap your TRX to any other coin on the TronLink Plus Mobile application or swap one token to another.

I leant whole lot in creating this post and doing the transactions needed then I got stuck on TronLink wallet and had to open a new TronLink wallet because i didn't have my keys so I was left with no TRX since I had to create a new one from the steemit wallet the import but i'm glad it all ended well.
