The topic that Prof. @gbenga talking about is the continuation from last week's topic which is about Blockchain Security. His homework tasks will be.

• The Security Benefits of Applying Blockchain Withing any Industry, and the impact of cryptocurrency on the industry.

For this homework tasks, I will be choosing the industry of Social Media which will be benefited on from the security of applying Blockchain and how does a cryptocurrency gives impact to it.

Security Benefit of Blockchain in Social Media

As blockchain technology continues evolving in different industries, it provably continues to provide better advantages to it. There were lots of Social Media platforms that runs on a Blockchain Technology and one example of is Steemit.

Here are some Security Benefits a Blockchain can gives when applying in Social Media.

• Great Security Services
  This means that blockchain technology will provide most of the reliable and great security capabilities for it needs to access on the blockchain to alter all the transactions. When a Social Media is a Blockchain based, all transactions will be stored in a blockchain which is too hard to hacked, unless you shared you permission keys to others.

• Transparency
  One main characteristic of Blockchain Technology that social media will be benefited is their transparency. As we all know, every transactions we will make in the blockchain will be track within the explorer where we can see if it really succeed or not.

• Security Efficiency
  Blockchain Technology will be efficient in providing better security. The Security abilities will make a social media platform more distinct and unique from the usual social media platform when being used by its users.

• Trust Worthy
  Being secured is the main purposed a user will used a platform most especially for Social Media Platform that is why, Blockchain Technology when implemented will make a Social Media platform trust worthy to used know that all the data will stored safely within the blockchain which is not easy to alter by someone.

Impact of Cryptocurrency to Social Media Platforms

If we think of traditional Social Media platform, the most common we can do is Like, Follow, Subscribe, Share without something in return but it definitely change when Blockchain Technology is implemented.

When Blockchain Technology implies in a Social Media Platform will make it secured and the most important is be rewarded by Cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency totally change the eco-system of a Social Media platform from the traditional one for the creator and supporters will all be benefited from the reward that has been given away. That makes a Social Media platform in Blockchain based be in demand from users.

Conclusion

Blockchain Security has been a great feature will give by Blockchain Technology to any industry and for my example in the Social Media Industry and its Cryptocurrency will be more important for it gives reward to its users but in addition being secured doesn't defend on Blockchain Technology but it defend on us who used it. So better to use properly the technology and then enjoy all the benefits it will give to you.

This is the end of my homework tasks week 6 by Prof. @gbenga with the topic: Blockchain Security 2. I really enjoyed this tasks and hopefully this will be accepted.
