From my point of view I think a person who is not greedy will have some immunity against scam even if the person is ignorant of crypto and other tech stuff.
Your advice is good but being so skeptical that opportunity pass us by is one thing I will avoid.
A good number of scams depends largely on exploiting the victims greed. Promise of unrealistic high return on investment. To some extent, you are making a valid point.
