TRADINGVIEW

Tradingview is a social network that is used for monitoring cryptocurrency coins, it makes use of the charts of a token and also the analysis tool to be able to spot whenever there is an opportunity for profit and trading in the crypto market.

Tradingview is not just limited to the use of charts alone but it also connects traders from all over the world, it can be used in keeping yourself up to date with the activities of your favourite coins, it provides traders with ideas that will be useful for trading.

The exciting thing about tradingview is that it doesn’t have a complex interface, with just a little knowledge a trader can find their way around the site easily, the site has a chart feature where a trader can track the on going activities of their favorite coins, this will help the trader to make decisions that will cut down the rate of loss and also bring profit to the trader if traded excellently.

The tradingview site is not just limited to the personal computers (PC’s) but can also be accessed using a mobile phone as there is the trading view app that can be downloaded on our mobile phones from our phones play store.

The tradingview provides traders who are not confident in their trading abilities with a demo feature i.e the paper trading feature, it helps the trader trade with fake money, this goes a long way in helping the trader to master the skills that are necessary to make excellent decisions in the crypto market and also as a result it will minimize the rate at which a trader experiences a loss and will help the trader maximize profit opportunities.

The charts in tradingview can be customized to suit the taste of a trader, the trader can add indicators that will enhance their prediction skills in the crypto market.

HOW DO YOU REGISTER AN ACCOUNT IN TRADINGVIEW

To register an account in tradingview the following steps that I will showing us briefly should be followed.

1.First login to the tradingview official site https://www.tradingview.com/ or if you do not want to login to their website you can download the app on mobile phone’s playstore.

2.After you must have visited their website, it time for you to register, click on the sign in icon at the top of your screen as shown in the image below

3.The above action will take you to the sign in spot where you will choose how you want to sign in. e.g sign in through your Google mail or Facebook

4.I will be using the Google account for this demo, after clicking on the Google icon as seen in the image above, you input your G-mail address in space provided

5.After you click on the ‘Next’ tap you will input your G-mail password in the space provided as shown in the image below

6.After you must have entered the correct password and clicked next, you have successfully registered your tradingview account

THE DIFFERENT REGISTRATION PLANS AVAILABLE IN TRADINGVIEW

Tradingview has four subscription plans, there is the basic, the Pro, the Pro+, and the premium, each plan has four different registration charge and each of these plans has more features according to their charges.

1.BASIC: The basic subscription plan is free as long as the registration process as shown above is duely followed. The basic feature gives the user the privilege of accessing basic chart features and functionalities. It is used for basic chart analysis.

The basic plan also does the following:

i.It provides access to charting software interface

ii.The user can make use of over 50 drawing tools

iii.The user has access to close to 100,000 indicators

Only 3 indicators can be added to a chart
It has a demo feature i.e the paper trading
It has a limit of 1 alert which expires after 2 months

2.PRO: the pro plan in tradingview removes most of the limitations placed on the basic subscription, the pro plan has a monthly subscription plan and an annual subscription plan also. This plan allows the user to have access to more customizing features that would enhance the trading experience of the user.

The features that are available in the pro plan are shown below:

i.The pro plan is free from Adds

ii.It has the Bar replay feature on all timeframes

iii.It has regular customer support

iv.Five(5) indicators can be added to a chart

v.It provides access to all multiple timeframes

vi.The pro plan has 5 charts layouts saved and also provides a lot of other exciting features

3.PRO+: the pro+ plan is an advanced version of the pro plan, it is best used for day trading and intraday trading. It provides more benefits than the pro plan.

Below as some of the features of the pro+ plan:

i.It allows the use of 10 different indicators in a chart

ii.The user can make use of 10 saved chart layouts

iii.It is possible to export chart data in the pro+ plan

iv.It has 30 active alerts expiring after 2 months

v.It can make use of 2 devices at same time

vi.The pro+ plan also has all the features present in the pro plan

4.THE PREMIUM PLAN: this is the highest subscription plan in trading view and it provides all the features that are available on the tradingview site, this involves the features in basic, pro and pro+ plan put together plus other additional features like:

i.It provides 400 alerts that do not expire unlike the other plans with 2 months expiration

ii.You can use up to 25 indicators in a chart

iii.You can also use 8 charts per tab

iv.It enables the user to make use of up to five different devices at the same time.

DIFFERENT FEATURES IN TRADINGVIEW

The tradingview site has numerous features; I will just be selecting a few of these features for discussion

1.THE SYMBOL SEARCH: This is where you select or search the coin you want to analyse.

Once you click on the marked spot in the image shown above it will take you to the symbol search where you can select your preferred coin for analysis.

2.CANDLES: This is where you select the type of candle stick you want to make use of in your chart

Selecting the marked spot in the image above will present you with the different types of candle sticks that are available in tradingview

3.INDICATORS: this is where the user can access the various indicators that are available for the plan they are using.

The indicators helps the traders in better analyzing the crypto market

4.UNDO & REDO: since it is said that sometimes mistakes are inevitable, in the customization of a chart a trader may make certain mistakes that he will need to correct, this feature will enable him go back to the point he was before he made the mistake

5.SETTING: with this feature a trader can customize or set the way he wants his chart to look like.

We can set the various colors we want our chart to possess.

The above features are not all that there is to the tradingview site, it has numerous features.

MY FAVOURITE FEATURE IN TRADINGVIEW

My favourite feature in tradingview is the indicator feature, understanding the indicator and how to use it will help the trader to make excellent decisions regarding trading. The reason I chose this feature is that it helps me analyze a coin better.

CHART SET UP AND CUSTOMIZATION IN TRADING VIEW

To set up chart in trading view, you must first of all visit the website and create an account as explained in the previous sub topic above.

i.Use the symbol search feature to search and select the coin you want to set up

ii.Once the chart is selected, you tap on the setting icon at the top of your screen to customize the chart

Now you can set up your chart to suit your preference, you can set symbol, which has to do with the colours of the body, the border, the wick and the rest, also you can set the status line, the scales, the appearance, trading and events.

You can also make use of indicators in your chart by clicking on the indicator icon

HOW TO ADD INDICATOR TO CHART IN TRADING VIEW

To add an indicator to your chart in tradingview, below are the following steps you should follow

1.Login to the platform www.tradingview.com and create an account, click on chart

1. After choosing the coin of your choice it will display the chart for the coin

2. Click on the indicator icon at the top of the screen

4.You can use the search bar to look for your indicator and select it

Congratulations you have succeeded in adding an indicator to the chart

MY FAVORITE INDICATOR

My most preferred indicator is the RSI indicator, choosing this indicator is because the RSI can be joined and connected to a number of indicators and also it can support various methods and schemes for trading.

IS TRADINGVIEW USEFUL IN PREDICTING THE CRYPTO MARKET?

Over the years tradingview has proven to be very effective in the prediction of market trends and price. Its array of indicators facilitates near accuracy of prediction in the crypto market, if a trader is fully equipped with the necessary knowledge of tradingview then they can predict the market trend and price of crypto accurately.
