Week four was a long week with a lot of assignments being submitted. At the end of the week, there were about 107 assignments submitted by students. The aim of the weekly summary is to share thoughts, observations, and recommendations about the week. The increasing participation of students in the weekly task is really encouraging and I hope to see more interaction and more assignments this week.

In the previous week, we discussed Ethereum and the Ethereum blockchain. If you didn't attend the class, you can go through it here "The Steemit Crypto Academy Week 4: All About the Ethereum Blockchain"

Observation, Guidiance, and Reactions

A lot has improved over the past few weeks but a lot of work still needs to be made. A few includes;

Plagiarism

This is one plague that needs to be cured or controlled in the community. I read a lot of content which were plagiarized. To be sincere, some people do not know that what they are doing isn't right, while some know what they are doing and have even grown skills of creating a plagiarized post sentence by sentence until the post is full.

Plagiarism isn't good for Steemit as it makes steemit look like a dumping ground for an already created post by other authors thereby reducing its SEO as there will be similar contents shared with other articles and platforms.

The best way to deceit from plagiarism is to write posts that are personally related and if the post requires research, then it is advisable to read through, assimilate, understand, and create content from your understanding. These contents wouldn't be plagiarized as they are written from the understanding of the resource. After writing, the resource should be referenced. Posts should not be the same as the resource article either all or part.

No replies to comment made

The essence of having the professors leave comments on posts is to be able to interact with our students but while we make comments on posts, there are a lot of posts with no replies.

To make the class fun, it would be good that constructive corrections, criticisms, and Q&A are done on posts. This will increase the interaction on posts.

To solve this, Uniswap uses an Automated liquidity protocol where liquidity providers are rewarded for providing liquidity to the liquidity pool.

This post explains the origin of Uniswap, the swapping, liquidity pool, and the Uni token. Uniswap is an interesting project built on the Ethereum Blockchain.
