For the purpose of this fixed task, I will be answering No. 2 Question
(1) PLEASE INDICATE YOUR STEEM INTEGRATED TRONLINK WALLET IN Steemitwallet.com?
First, I login to my steemit wallet using my active key. Next, I navigate down my wallet and below is a screenshot of my Steem integrated Tronlink wallet.
(2) IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE PRIVATE KEY/PUBLIC KEY OF YOUR STEEM INTEGRATED TRONLINK WALLET, DEMONSTRATE HOW DO YOU RESTORE THIS WALLET IN A FRESH INSTALLATION OR DEVICE?
To restore my Tron wallet (to import my wallet), I simply go to Google play store and install the TRONLINK DApp.
Next, I open the DApp and the first page I see is the screenshot below
Since I want to import an existing account, then I click on import account.
After reading the user privacy Agreement on the next page, I click on Accept
On the next page, I am required to choose a means of linking my wallet. I choose the Private Key option.
Next, I input my private key so as to be able to link my wallet address.
Next, I am required to set a wallet name along side a password. This password will be used to validate every transaction in the future instead of using my Private key every time thereby keeping my private key safe.
I have successfully imported my Tron wallet using TRONLINK DApp.
(3) HOW IMPORTANT IS THE PASSWORD THAT YOU SET LOCALLY IN A FRESH INSTALLATION? WHICH FORM OF THE PRIVATE KEY NEEDS THE PASSWORD TOO TO UNLOCK THE CRYPTO ASSET?
If I want to freeze some Trons, I click on freeze
I select the resource I want to get from the freezing (energy or bandwidth)
Next, I select the amount of tokens I want to freeze and then I click on Freeze
Next, I input my password which I have previously set when importing my wallet.
Also, to send a token to another random address, I click on send
On the next page, I input the wallet address I want to send to and the amount of tokens
I can also add a memo on the form of a note. Then I click on send
Once again, I input my password to validate the transaction.
So, it can be seen that in the Tronlink DApp, the password later becomes more important than than the Private Key. Since the password is now used in place of the Private key, then the private key is now safe and free from prying eyes.
