Good day everyone,

I am very delighted to be part of this wonderful lecture and on the topic on how to sell and buy NFTs.I will like to thank our noble professor @levycore for that wonderful lecture.I really enjoyed and learnt a lot so am kindly here to present to you my work.

From what we have learnt previously I can remember we discussed on what NFTs are and their uses as well.In this homework task I will be emphasizing on how NFT asset can be traded that is buying and selling.

The platforms in which you can buy or sell your NFT asset are many but will like to talk about the ones we know.Below are some of them :

1.OpenSea

2.Superfarm

3.CryptoKitties

4.Rarible

With what I have been tasked to do,OpenSea Market is what I know best and will be emphasizing and putting more light on it.

OPENSEA

OpenSea is a type of market place where selling and buying of NFTs are been made and it is therefore known by a lot of people.Everyone gets it easy to join and likes it a lot because the website of it is not a complicated one.

The good news is that it has brought up a new system whereby the one buying and the one selling makes up a deal that’s agreeing and promising each other before any transaction is allowed to be made. This makes it a very securing place because there is no stealing over there you know very you are safe.

Another good thing about it is that it works with a lot of wallets but know that transactions can only be made in ethereum currency.It does not also work with any other system making the platform very tight in terms of security and also the network itself is a decentralized one.

WHY DO I PREFER OPENSEA

I prefer OpenSea than the other platforms because:

1.The interface of its website is not complicated.

2.It is so easy when you want to create NFTs on it.

3.Security on this platform is very tight.

4.On the platform there are a lot of NFTs.

ADVANTAGES OF OPENSEA

1.Buying and selling is made very easy on this platform because it is known by a lot of people and people also trade much on the platform.

2.When making transactions, there is nothing like taking risk everything moves smoothly because the platform is full of security because it is been decentralized.

3.It also works with a lot of different wallet and this makes in so simple and the best amongst other platforms.This gives most investors the reason to come join this platform.

DISADVANTAGES OF OPENSEA

1.With this platform,there is no allotment taken into consideration to detect plagiarized content so people use it as an advantage to copy from websites.

2.Also the platform uses only one crypto currency which is ethereum and with this I think it shouldn’t be the case.They should try as much as possible to include more crypto currencies and when that is done it will be used by every investor.

HOW TO CREATE NFT ON OPENSEA

STEP 1

Search for https://opensea.io/ on any search engine of your choice.

STEP 2

Click on create and it will automatically send you to your asset collection.

STEP 3

Get a new asset if you don’t have one by clicking on create.

STEP 4

Type the name and describe how your asset is and then after that you drag and drop any of your preferred picture in the box.

STEP 5

A pop up menu will appear which shows create, then click on it to successfully create your NFT.

HOW TO SELL NFT ON OPENSEA

The steps below shows a clear view of how OpenSea is been sold including screenshots.

STEP 1

After creating your NFT, you will be sent back to your collections where you will click on ‘Add item’
A pop up menu will appear which shows an interface of Metamask then you kindly click on sign to continue.

STEP 2

A pop up menu will appear then you click on sell.

STEP 3

To continue click on sell again at the top right corner.

STEP 4

Another pop up menu appears where you will determine the sale type, other data and price.
When you done click on post your listing.

STEP 5

The last pop up menu will appear then you click on confirm after when fees are accepted to be paid for.
The transaction is not made successful because I have no coin in my account.

HOW TO BUY NFT ON OPENSEA

The steps below will show you a clear view of how NFT is bought on OpenSea including screenshots.

STEP 1

Search for https://opensea.io on any of your search engines.

STEP 2

The interface of the website will show then you click on explore

STEP 3

Click on any of the NFTs you want to purchase

STEP 4

Kindly click on buy

STEP 5
This will appear if you haven’t sign in or use a different wallet type.

After signing in or using a different wallet type you then click on checkout which payment will be made successful if only you have a coin in your account.

CONCLUSION

I will end by saying this the knowledge from what I have learnt and know about OpenSea when it comes to buying and selling in the market.
