Therefore, users should be educated and informed about these scams so that they can protect their account from hackers. Additionally, people should use secure networks when accessing Steemit instead of public networks as these are more vulnerable. Moreover, using strong passwords, avoiding third party applications and setting recovery accounts are some of the steps that users should take to prevent their accounts from theft and hacking.
