Development of the assigned task.

1. Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?

Satoshi Nakamoto is the developer of Bitcoin and implemented the original Bitcoin reference, devising the first blockchain database (white paper).

Satoshi Nakamoto is a fictitious character or pseudonym created following the birth of Bitcoin, who is held responsible for its creation, it is possible that he is a woman, a man or a group of people representing a company in the form of a society.

His real personality is a real mystery, there are even many suspects that could be this character, based on the collaboration and strengthening of Bitcoin, however they are only speculations, since the reality is that the true identity of the pseudonym called Satoshi Nakamoto is still unknown with accuracy.

2. Write about two claims/theories of Satoshi Nakamoto's identity .

Within the list of Satoshi Nakamoto's identity claims or theories are Hal finney and Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto:

Hal finney

Hal finney is a cryptocurrency pioneer, even before cryptocurrency existed, it is said that he could be Satoshi Nakamoto, because he lived a few blocks away from someone whose last name was Nakamoto, and someone thought to suggest that Hal finney could have been inspired by this surname for his pseudonym.

Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto

It is said that Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto could be Satoshi Nakamoto, because of his similar surname, his studies in physics at a university in the USA, as well as his libertarian character, and also because he is a Japanese-American citizen, so he fits perfectly with the profile of the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.

3. Who is Wei Dai?.

Wei Dai

He is an excellent computer engineer born in China and a fundamental figure in the field of cryptography, since he stands out for his appearance in the Bitcoin white paper, he worked for Microsoft, being the creator of the "Crypto++" library, which is a totally free library, containing several projects written by him, by students and by non-commercial companies. In addition Wei Dai was one of the first people contacted by Nakamoto, while bitcoin was created in 2008, so it is speculated that Wei Dai could be Satoshi Nakamoto, however this is only a hypothesis.

4. What is the current value of Bitcoin on the day you are performing this task?.

At the moment I am performing this task the value of Bitcoit is $40,790.76, according to Coinmarketcap.com

Calculate the USD value of one satoshi of the current value. (Show the complete job and at 3 s.f)

Solution

1 satoshi = 1/100000000 x 1 BTC
1 BTC = $40,790.76
∴ 1 satoshi = 1/100000000 x 40,790.76
1 satoshi = $0.0004079076
1 satoshi = $0.000408 (to 3 s.f)

5. What is the current value of Ether on the day you are performing this task?
At the moment I am performing this task the value of Ether is $2,776.88, according to Coinmarketcap.com

Calculate the USD value of one Gwei of the current value. (Show the complete job and at 3 s.f).

Solution
1 Gwei = 1/1000000000 x 1 Ether
1 Ether = $2,776.88
∴ 1 Gwei = 1/1000000000 x 2,776.88
1 Gwei = $0.00000277688
1 Gwei = $0.00000278 (to 3 s.f)

6.Transfer 0.001 Steem to an account. Then send 0.0001 steem. Show what happens and tell why.

Smallest Steem unit

image.png

Transfer 0.001 Steem to an account (Screenshots with username label).

Currently there is no smaller unit or submultiple of Steem, but the smallest or minimum amount we can transfer is 0.001 Steem.

To verify this I will transfer the minimum amount that can be transferred on the Steem Blockchain, that is 0.001 to @awesononso's account.

I now confirm the transfer:

I have validated the transfer with my active password, which was successful, as we can see in the following images.

Then send 0.0001 Steem. Show what is happening and tell why.

De igual manera procedo a enviarle 0,0001 Steem a @awesononso , pero esto es lo que sucede:

In the image above, we are presented with a red message that says "Use only 3 digits" and prevents me from continuing to the step of confirming the transfer, because the Steem Blockchain only allows a maximum of 3 decimals and I am trying to transfer an amount with 4 decimals (0.0001).
