RE: Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S2W3 - Blockchain in our lives. by @msquaretk
Ok thanks for your reply, so you mean here that the patient will not have assess to his or her medical information even if they have, it will be limited to what they should know not information that are to be private. Right?
Yeah. They won't have access to private information. Some weeks ago, a guy I know went to the hospital for some medical test.
After doing the test, he was supposed to collect the result, but because the doctor knows that if he should reveal it to him, he may affect him or put his life in danger. The doctor didn't give him report. Instead he gave him what he needed.
Whereas, there's someone whom he gave the exact report to. The doctor knew the report should be given to this particular person.
So, one of the ways to achieving this is to have the database of the patience and doctor registered separately on the Blockchain. The doctor will know how to fill the database of the patient, which may contain the information he or she needs.
Now, if the patient is to be treated by another doctor, then, there can be a way where the new doctor will access the previous doctor's reports which isn't shown to the patient even from the database of the patient.
That's my own opinion. There could be more easiest and better ways to achieving this, though.
Thank you.
Ok now I understand you well, yes it will be nice if this should come up, it will ease some work load and save so many lives, instead of repeating test that was done already, the patient information could be quickly assessed and attained to. It will save costs too. Thank you for taking time to explain this to my understanding with even examples you are in deed a great teacher
