INTRODUCTION

Hello my friends in @steemcryptoacademy, hope you all are doing just fine.
You are welcome to my blog, today i will be writing on the topic wallet which is a contest given to us by @crypto-academy

Though i don't really know much about cryptocurrencies, but i really want to learn so that i will get to know more about it.
Without wasting much of your time, lets go down to the reason i wrote these article

ABOUT A WALLET

WALLETS: According to my own understanding, it is a software program an electronic device or an online service which is used to store/save our cryptocurrency, and it's also used to purchase anything or to make some transactions online.

A digital wallet, also known as e-wallet, is an electronic device, online service, or software program that allows one party to make electronic transactions with another party bartering digital currency units for goods and services.
This can include purchasing items on-line with a computer or using a smartphone to purchase something at a store. Money can be deposited in the digital wallet prior to any transactions or, in other cases, an individual's bank account can be linked to the digital wallet.
Users might also have their driver's license, health card, loyalty card(s) and other ID documents stored within the wallet. The credentials can be passed to a merchant's terminal wirelessly via near field communication (NFC).
Increasingly, digital wallets are being made not just for basic financial transactions but to also authenticate the holder's credentials. For example, a digital wallet could verify the age of the buyer to the store while purchasing alcohol. The system has already gained popularity in Japan, where digital wallets are known as "wallet mobiles". Source

WHY I THINK WALLETS ARE IMPORTANT

They are many reasons why i think that wallets are important, below are the reasons;

• Wallet help us contain and preserve our important documents

• It helps us in keeping our money secure and save

• It helps in making easy transactions from anywhere without going to the bank to redraw your money

• Most wallets gives discount when and also gives out rewards.
  The more you make transactions the more you gain

The above are some of the reason i think wallets are very important.

MY OWN WALLETS

Currently, i have two wallets that am using, and they are Trust wallet and my Steem wallet

WHY I CHOOSE THOSE WALLET

The reason i choose trust wallet and steem wallet is because it is easy to access and also have a strong security system, which am very sure that no one can have access to them without the verification from me.

MY EXPERIENCE

My experience so far since i started using trust wallet and steem wallet is that they are very easy to use and they don't give me tough time when i want to perform any transactions.

HAVE YOU SUFFERED ANY WALLET THEFT

Honestly speaking, No but i have been hearing cases like that, even one of my friend in school his e wallet got hacked and all his funds were removed, it was a pity cause the money that was in the wallet was about 150,000 naira which is 83.28SBD.

Like i said before, i haven't suffered such, cause the wallet that am using is very secure and i also added more additional security to be sure it very safe.

MY EXPERIENCE IN THEFT IN MY WALLET

Like i said before above, i have not experience such thing before

WHAT I DO TO PROTECT MY CRYPTOCURRENCY

I make sure my security is very tight, by enabling all the security settings that are in the software, and lock the software with app lock that requires my face,bmy fingerprint and also a password to access it.

WHICH DO YOU PREFER COLD OR HOT WALLETS

Storing cryptocurrency requires you making a decision about which one will keep your cryptocurrency safe.

So i would prefer the cold wallet or the combination of both cold and hot wallet to be sure that my cryptocurrency are very much safe.

CONCLUSION

Wallet is a very secure software that helps in storing our cryptocurrency and Making easy transactions, which i think everyone should have their own personal Wallet.
