Hello wonderful people of #steemitCryptoAcademy hope you are doing great I am also good today. I am going to participate another contest organised by wonderful community and the topic is Resource Credit Vs Bandwidth. It will give me chance to explore my knowledge about the given topic and also enable me to learn a lot by engagement.
What is bandwidth in blockchains? Explain in your own words. |

First of all what is bandwidth? Bandwidth means the capacity of network to transmit data in given time period. It is calculated in megabites.
So it can be determined if the bandwidth of given network is 10 Mbps; it implied that the maximun speed for data transfer is 10 Mbps and it can not transmit data more than 10 Mbps in anyway.
Now the bandwidth in blockchain can be explained that, bandwidth is refered to measure the capacity of how different transaction can be processed in any blockchain. So the process of transaction in blockchain is carried out with the help of bandwidth.
So, in simple word it can be elaborated that bandwidth referred to the number of transaction that can be carried out in any system at a particular time period.
There are different factor that effect the effectiveness of network more important are nodes and block size. Hence, proper function of any blockchain is based on bandwidth .

Earliar it was found that stren blockchain worked on the bandwidth system but later it was found that resource credit was most effective and it replaced the banwidth soon. it was clearly demonstrated by respected professor @pelon53. Resource credits was found more effective in blockchain.
How resource credit more useful? When we are working on steemit RC( Resouce credit) played significant role for creating posts, commenting on others posts and also votes and upvotes on others posts and moreover transactions can be done.
When we create account on steemit there is no need of investing money and resource credit enabled new users to create post and also do comnents.
If we have don't have resource credit? It affect the voting and transactions can not be done. Infact when resource credit is less, i cannot perform anything on the steemit and definitely there is wait till my account recharge again and it retain the integrity of blockchain.
If we more RC it help more votes and also more numbet of posts. As i do powerup every month it increases my steem power and also improve resource credit which improve my voting and comments status and offcourse i can interact with more users by using my RC status.
How Resouce credit are created? Well!!! Resource credits are continously prdouced by blockchain system, more interestingly its nontransferable to others and constantly being created by the blockchain.

Of course there is little difference in bandwidth and resouce credit on steem blockchain.
Bandwidth
The bandwith on steem blockchain enables users to perform different tasks such as
- Posting
- Comments
- Votes
However, during any above mentioned activities a certain amount of bandwidth is utilized. If there is less amount of bandwidth definitely users has to wait till the time it filled again.
A limiting situations can be faced during high traffic of network the high power users will be prior as compared to less power which will shown inactive for the moment. Inactive users will wait for the moment to lower doen the traffic and can enable to perform their tasks with similar bandwidth.
Resource Credit (RCs)
Resource credits has greater stabilites as compared to bandwidth. However during performing different tasks such as votes or posts a certain amount of RC is lessened from the total amount of resource credit. Of course we may become unable to perform transaction till the time it refilled.
However, resource credit do not lowered suddenly and it can be observed how much it is consumed by users and when it would be 100% again.

In order to find out resource credit i have go to https://steemworld.org/@drhira. Here appeared the dash board on left side corner.
Then i clicked on three dots appeared on right corner and enter my name to check the resource credit.
Here appeared my resource credit which is 2,485,886,035,799.

Resource credits or Bandwidth me major farak ye ha k Bandwidth blockchain network py transfer hony waly data ki speed ka dosra name ha.
Jab m resource credits aisy credits hain jo k blockchain par hony wali activities ko sponosr krty hain. Ye waqat k sath sath reload hoty rehty hain or reloading ka rate user ki SP py depend krta ha.
