In this post, I am here to submit my S2 Homework Task 7 which I have carried out as required by @sapwood

^{As I have used Tronlink Pro Wallet in Android in earlier tasks but I am using Windows for this task.}

Q. How do I connect my TronLink Wallet to Sun.io?

There are generally two ways to connect TronLink wallet to Sun.io. You can connect through the TronLink Pro Wallet or connect through the Sun.io website. You can connect the wallet in the way that you feel appropriate and easy. Here i am connecting the wallet through the website.

Steps to connect TronLink wallet to Sun.io :

• Visit https://sun.io/#/sun.
• Click on Connect to wallet.
• Enter the TronLink wallet password => Click on continue.
• Now Wallet will successfully connected to the Sun.io. This is the Homepage of Sun.io. To check, Click on the wallet address to see all the details.

Q. What are the different liquidity mining pools? Which one offers the highest APY?

In Sun.io, there are 9 different liquidity mining pools available which are listed below :

• USDT-TRX LP
• USDJ-TRX LP
• TUSD-TRX LP
• SUNOLD-TRX LP
• WBTT-TRX LP
• JST-TRX LP
• BTC-TRX LP
• ETH-TRX LP
• WIN-TRX LP

While taking screenshot, SUNOLD-TRX LP is offering the highest APY i.e. 35.7%. However, APY tends to decrease or increase due to market fluctuations. But in recent times, SUNOLD-TRX LP has always been ahead the other mining pools.

How many different rewards do I get by staking LP token?

So far There are 5 different token as rewards / Mining bonus, I get by staking LP tokens. And on Sun.io's homepage, there are currently only 5 shows. i.e.

• TRX
• SUNOLD
• JST
• BTT
• WIN

But more recently, the BTCST token has also been added as a mining reward in Tron century Mining, which I will get when I stake the LP tokens. And this token is added to the "Claim" section. So now there are 6 token as rewards / Mining bonus.

Q. How do I obtain LP Token by adding liquidity in Justswap? What is the quantity(Explore through your wallet/Tronscan)?

Steps to obtain LP Token by adding liquidity in Justswap :

• Visit https://justswap.io/#/home => Connect your wallet.
• Switched to Pool from the swap.
• Click on Add Liquidity
• Now select any pair of the tokens. I have selected USDT/TRX.
• Enter the amount you want to supply. I have entered 5 TRX.
• Click on Supply => Then Click on Confirm Supply.
• Now a transaction pop-up will be appear, requests you to complete the transaction.
• Click on accept.
• Now Liquidity is successfully added.

As I have selected USDT / TRX pair and supplied 5 TRX + 0.399 USDT liquidity, I obtained 6.336 S-USDT-TRX LP Token on https://justswap.io/. And this transaction consumed 383 bandwidth & 60,902 energy.

Q. How do I stake LP Token to earn five different tokens on Sun.io?

As I mentioned above, Sun.io has 9 different liquidity mining pools and you get/earn 6 different token rewards or Mining Bonus on staking LP Tokens.

Steps to stake LP Token to earn 5 different tokens on Sun.io :

• Visit https://sun.io/ => Connect your wallet.
• Select any liquidity mining pool of your choice. I have selected USDT-TRX LP.
• Enter the amount. I have entered 1 USDT-TRX LP to staking.
• Click on Stake.
• Complete the transaction process.
• Successfully Done!
• Check. Now you can manage your staking to earn different tokens rewards.

Q. Which reward(out of five different rewards) can be withdrawn at any time?

There are 6 different token as rewards / Mining bonus, you get by staking LP tokens. So among the six different rewards, the reward that can be withdrawn at any time is SUNOLD. But only 33% of the SUNOLD reward can be withdrawn at any time. And the remaining of the reward ( SUNOLD ) can be withdrawn with other rewards weekly over a period of 24 weeks.

How do claim that?

• Visit https://sun.io/ => Connect your wallet.
• Go to that liquidity mining pool in which you have staked LP Token.
• Click on Manage button.
• Switched to Claim.
• Now you can see that the reward i.e. SUNOLD is available to claim => Click on Claim.
• Now a transaction pop-up will be appear, requests you to complete the transaction.
• Click on accept.
• Reward successfully claimed.
• To check, Explore https://tronscan.org/.

This transaction consumed 279 bandwidth & 62,385 energy.

Q. What is the schedule of unlocking the mining rewards? Indicate the total undistributed/distributed mining rewards in the screenshot?

Schedule of unlocking mining rewards : Withdraw/Unlock on a weekly basis over a period of 24 weeks.

As we know, 33% SUNOLD rewards can be unlocked at any time. While the other remaining Mining Rewards are unlocked on a weekly basis over a period of 24 weeks. And the remaining SUNOLD reward can be withdrawn/unlocked on a regular schedule with other remaining rewards.

Total undistributed/distributed mining rewards :

We have only SUNOLD (33%) reward available for distribution, as it can be claimed/unlocked at any time. So it is the distributed mining reward. While the TRX, SUNOLD (67%), JST, BTT, WIN, BTCST come under undistributed mining rewards.

Q. Include the real example of your interaction with Justswap and Sun.io as required in this task? Indicate how a "stake"(in Sun.io) function consumes different "Energy & Bandwidth" than "obtaining LP token" (in Justswap)? You should add/remove a small amount of liquidity to obtain/redeem your LP token(as little as 1 USDT worth)?

As we know and have also done in the previous task, Trigger Smart Contract Transactions consume both bandwidth and energy. And also in this task, both interactions are based on that transaction. So obviously, both Bandwidth and Energy will be consumed in Justswap's "obtaining LP tokens" and Sun.io's "stake" function.

• Visit https://justswap.io/#/home => Connect your wallet.
• Switched to Pool => Click on Add Liquidity
• Now select any pair of the tokens. I have selected USDT/TRX.
• Enter the amount => Click on Supply => Then Click on Confirm Supply.
• Now Complete the transaction process => Click on accept.
• Now Liquidity is successfully added.

• Visit https://sun.io/ => Connect your wallet.
• Select any liquidity mining pool of your choice. I have selected USDT-TRX LP.
• Enter the amount => Click on Stake.
• Complete the transaction process.
• Successfully Done!

Let's check the bandwidth and energy consumption in JustSwap & Sun.io transactions.

Justswap

Sun.io

TRX Burned : 10.43}

=> As you can see in the pictures above, the transaction of Sun.io consumes more energy than JustSwap. However, there is not much difference in the consumption of bandwidth in transactions between the two. But Bandwidth's consumption in Sun.io's "Stake" function is low. And if I did not have Sufficient energy to execute the transaction, TRX is also burnt. As Sun.io's transactions consume more energy, TRX burns more than Justswap's transactions because the energy consumption in Justswap is less.

Q. How do I unstake LP token and claim mining rewards(Sun.io)?

Steps to unstake LP Token :

• Visit https://sun.io/ => Connect your wallet.
• Go to that liquidity mining pool in which you have staked LP Token.
• Click on Manage button.
• Switched to Claim.
• Now you can see that, 1 USDT-TRX LP is available to unstake.
• Enter the amount. I clicked on max => Click on Claim & Unstake.
• Now a transaction pop-up will be appear, requests you to complete the transaction.
• Click on accept.
• Successfully Done.
• To check, Explore https://tronscan.org/ or check your wallet.
