Steemit Crypto Academy Contest Season 9 Week 3 [Summary] - Steem Inflation
Introduction
Dear steemians and community members. We are in the fourth week of the ninth season of the Steemit Challenge. Our appreciation and thanks go out to everyone who participated in our week 3 and we invite you even more to participate in the running competition held in our community Season 9 Week 4 - Blockchain Steem: Debt Vs Ownership. Let's take a look at the recap of week three.
For the third week of Season 9, we have organized a competition centered on an important concept in the Steemit ecosystem which revolves around crypto Inflation and more precisely Steem inflation which is the process by which new tokens can be introduced into the system through mining and staking activities. As the supply of tokens increases, their unit value decreases.
Steemit's social platform philosophy is based primarily on motivating users with the goal of achieving inclusive growth and sustainability of its ecosystem. Therefore, this inflationary mint model put a certain fixed number of tokens into each block according to the inflation rate.

A total of 14 entries were received throughout the contest period, no cases of plagiarism, but one entry was deemed invalid as it exceeded the deadlines.

Performance Distribution
For the week we had 5 posts that landed in the excellent realm taking 36% of the total entries, the top contest rating fell in the good category with a total of 50%, the category invalid took up 7% space and also 7% belongs to the average contest content.

The first factor we embraced in the selection process is the quality of performance of the participants then followed by their interactions with other users in the contest.
