Steemit Crypto Academy Contest Season 2 Week 1 [Summary] - How Cryptocurrency has Shaped the Financial Realm. What is Its Future?

We have finished this first week of the second season of the Steemit Engagement Challenge and the second week is already underway. A warm greeting to the Steemit Crypto Academy Community, the aim of this post is to let you know the statistics of what happened in the first week of this season.

The theme of last week's contest was: "How Cryptocurrency has Shaped the Financial Realm - what is the future?" In this contest, each participant was required to give a brief description of cryptocurrencies, as well as to make a comparison between cryptocurrencies and conventional currencies. Furthermore, the participant had to explain the distinctive innovations of cryptocurrencies and the disadvantages of cryptocurrencies.

Additionally, the participant had to explain in his/her own words how he/she would deal with the above-mentioned problems and disadvantages. Finally, he/she had to give his/her opinion regarding the future of cryptocurrencies and the recommendations he/she would give.

Many participants did a great job and showed excellent publications on how cryptocurrencies have shaped the financial realm and showed the future of cryptocurrencies. Other participants fell short of what was required, doing a superficial article without fully explaining what was expected of this contest. In other cases, the participant did not belong to any club.

STATISTICS OF THIS WEEK'S RESULTS

In this first week's challenge there were 99 entries. Two users removed the tags, as they were caught in the act of plagiarism. The distribution is as follows:

In the following chart you can see that 7% of the participants made excellent assignments, 57% of the participants' entries were good and 21% of the participants only completed their assignment. We continue to make efforts to eliminate plagiarism in the Academies and we thank the participants who collaborate to eradicate plagiarism. Our team continues to work hard.
