Steemit Crypto Academy Season 2 : Selling and Buying NFT: Homework submission
Since 2017 when I came to know about crypto and blockchain, this space is developing very fast. NFT is the latest trend in the crypto and blockchain world.
Today after attending the class of professor -levycore I learned more about NFT and motivated to in-depth research about NFT marketplaces. As I have to select any one NFT market place so I searched on google about NFT marketplaces and selected Atomic Hub to complete my assignment.
Task 1
Select the NFT market that you want to try to sell and buy NFTs and why did you choose this market
Answer
As I am new and at the learning stage so honestly there are no specific reasons to select this platform other than learning something new so I choose it randomly.
Task 2
How to Buy NFT ( Screenshot needed)

- First of all, need to create a Wax wallet, for that, go to Wax cloud wallet. It can be open in just 2 steps using your social media account like facebook, google, twitter etc.
- Buy and deposit some Wax in the wallet by selecting your exchange of choice like Bittrex, Cucoin etc.
- Now go to Atomic Hub website website and near login, there is an option to select the chain on which you want to trade Wax or EOS. I opted for Wax.
- Click on login and login with your Wax cloud wallet.
- Now homepage will show all new listings available for sale. NFT can be buy directly from here.
- When you click on buy, a popup window will open where they will ask to ensure that you are buying genuine NFT. Click on I understand and then click on buy. To complete the transaction you must have enough Wax in your wallet. As I didn't have Wax in my wallet so could not show further process, but it is very simple.
- If you want to see a category wise listing click on the market option. A new page will open where there are lots of categories on the left and two types of sell is there one is direct buy and another is an auction.
- When you click on the buy option a new popup window will open where you can buy the NFT of your choice. Wax balance must be there to proceed further than this otherwise transaction will be failed.
- If you opt for auction click on the Place bid option of NFT
To proceed further wax must be in your wallet. As I do not have wax so I couldn't proceed further. It is so simple to buy or place a bid.
Thus you can complete your transaction to buy any NFT on Atomic Hup NFT platform.
Task 3
How to Sell NFT ( Screenshot needed)

If you want to sell your NFT go to the NFT creator option on the top menu. A new page will open where you will find a big "+" with the Create new collection option. Click on that.
Now you have to fill some parameters of your NFT like
Collection Photo
Collection Name (Compulsory)
Display Name (Compulsory)
Description
Website URL
Market Fee (Compulsory)
- After filling in all required parameters you can create your NFT collection by clicking on the right bottom "Creat collection" option.
As I do not have any NFT for sale so couldn't proceed further.
Task 4
Mention and explain the advantages and disadvantages of the NFT market you have chosen
Answer
Advantages of Atomic Hub NFT marketplace
- Easy to use friendly interface.
- A vast category to select, your choice of NFT to buy including big names such as Garbage Pail Kids and William Shatner collectables.
- No hefty gas fees. only 2.00% of the total sales price
Disadvantages of Atomic Hub NFT marketplace
- Atomic Hub Marketplace does not support Credit Cards or PayPal.
- Sellers can price their NFTs in USD. But at the time of settlement, they would be paid by WAX tokens only, converted at the prevailing rates.
Conclusion
Really it was a great opportunity for me to understand any NFT marketplace in details. Before this task, I never went into so many details of any NFT marketplace. It is my first experience with NFT so I might have missed some points but I tried my best to do the assignment as per the guidelines of the professor.
