Introduction

Thank you sir for this week's engagement challenge. I am so delighted to perform again. Today, we'll talk about the Tron ecosystem.

Tron as we all know is a platform build under the technology of a blockchain, and aims on creating decentralised internet. It also enables initiating/ creating of smart contracts and dApps, and deploying them. This platform was found in 2017 by Justin Sun.

The Tron network isn't just a small one. It is broad, comprising of other components which makes up the system, such as the:

1. TRX (Tronix): This is the coin of the platform, of the Tron blockchain. It can be used for online/peer-to-peer payments, and for other transactions.

2. There is also a virtual machine that can create and initiate a smart contract on the platform. It is called the Tron Virtu machine (TVM).

3. Tron wallet: Just like our various bank accounts, this is a wallet for you and I keep our Tron coin or receive and send.

4. The Tron dApps: I'll talk about the different types of dApps later. They are apps that works on the Tron network. They are built on the Tron blockchain.

The Tron ecosystem which we are looking at today is a platform that is secure to use. You and I can use it for transactions, and it is transparent. It has different apps built on the blockchain and it can also be used for so many transactions.

There are so many components of this platform, but today I'll be much more focused on going in line with the weekly challenge guidelines and talk more on what matters.

What I understand by TronLink and Tronscan and their uses

As users on Tron ecosystem, it is okay you know that there is no way you can be able to use the platform without the TronLink and Tronscan.
These are some important platforms when it comes to the Tron ec0system.

The TronLink details

Fro me, the TronLink is very easy to use because of my experience in using it. It is a browser that helps in storing of coin, that is your TRX. TronLink is very secure and its usage is easy. It is used to operate on the Tron account.

If I want to send or receive the Tron token, whatever transaction I want to do, the TronLink is there to serve.

There is another good feature of the TronLink, which is allowing users to directly access order apps that i.e the decentralized apps on the Tron network without even using another means or sign out, or leaving their wallets.

The Tronscan details

The Tronscan network makes it easier for users to check the ecosystem. We use the Tronscan for viewing transactions. With the Tronscan, you can use it to see transactions or verify transactions on the network and also to check balances, tracking transactions.

Tronscan gives us the full information about how our transactions on the Tron ecosystem goes. It provides data that makes us to be able to track or analyse transactions, and accounts on the platform.

Name and explain some of the different dApps that you explore using the TronLink wallet

Now let's look into some the decentralized apps on the Tron ecosystem;

1. WINk; WINK is a gaming platform on the Tron ecosystem that has lots of games, ranging from poker, sports betting and lots more. When you want to participate,
   

2. BitTorrent Speed; This platform was integrated with Tron after being bought in 2018. It is decentralized. For sharing files, and users will be rewarded with the BBT tokens.

3. TRONBet; Just like a normal betting platform, but this one uses TRX to pay/reward users for game staking. It is a decentralized betting platform.

4. Sun.io; It is a DeFi platform with so many financial services. You can earn the SUN token by participating in either yield farming and staking.

There are so many dApps built on the Tron network that can be accessible through the TronLink. As a participant, you are entitled to all of these services and even more.

How do you verify a transaction status using Tronscan. E.g, it should include the timestamp, bandwidth & energy. Screenshots also needed

If you want to verify the status of a transaction using Tronscan, then you have to follow these steps;

1. Visit the Tronscan site https://tronscan.org/ and click on the "Transactions" option or the search bar above.
   
   check where my arrow is pointing.

2. Next you have to enter the wallet address of the sender or the receiver. You can also enter the transaction hash in the search bar and click on search.

3. Next thing you'll see is the information of the transaction you're searching for. It will show the details of all transactions; Transaction ID, the fee, the amount, the sender and receiver. You'll also see the status of all transactions.
   
   This shows the details of transactions on the account. I used the sender's wallet address. But for a specific transaction, use the transaction hash.

Now if you still want to see more data on the transactions made on the account, which includes bandwidth and energy, then you'll have to scroll down a little.

This is where the energy and bandwidth information will be shown to you.

Now you can scroll down down to see all the transactions made on this account. I clicked on the first one here, which is the last transaction to check it specific details.

Now these are the transaction details, based on the specific hash I clicked above.

To see the energy and bandwidth of this transaction, I scroll download a little. On this screenshot now, you can see both the bandwidth and the energy of the transaction.

Explain the process of initiating a transaction using TronLink wallet. Screenshots and practical examples needed

Steps in initiating a transaction using TronLink wallet.

1. Install TronLink wallet app on either your android or iOS device. After that, create or import an existing account.
   
   You'll either create a new account or you import. I'm creating a new one.

Now to initiate a transaction 👇👇👇

1. Okay guys, now let's answer the question on this section properly and normal.
   Initiating a transaction, you'll have to click on the send button on the TronLink. See where my arrow is pointing.
   

2. Now we'll move straight to the recipient address. The address will be entered in the "to" field. You still have to put the amount of TRX you want to transfer in the field that shows amount.

For cases of new accounts, just like mine, you can't send TRX if you don't have it in your wallet. So to do it, you have to click on the receive option and copy the wallet address. Then use it to deposit at least small amount of TRX before you can be able to send on TronLink.

Once you're sure of the details, and have verified the recipient details and amount, click on the send option to initiate the transaction.

You'll be shown a pop-up menu to confirm your transaction. Check again to be sure of the transaction details. Once you're satisfied with the details, click on confirm button to complete the transaction.

The adaption of the Tron ecosystem

Since the launch of the Tron ecosystem in 2017, it has gained lots of users and has grown well.

Talking about the users base, Tron have over 30million plus registered users worldwide and almost 3million transactions daily. Lots of people have a good interest in the Tron platform that's been clearly shown.

Today, we see steemit and Tron doing great job as co-blockchain. This is another great step in it adaptation.

Tron has seen good growth and has good users, good partnership, just like that with steemit. There is also good investment and a good dApps platform.

Also, Tron has a good future. It developments and improvements has shown us that it will have a good future.

Conclusion is

In conclusion, the Tron ecosystem is a blockchain platform that has seen significant growth and adoption since its launch in 2017. It has a large and growing user base, a thriving dApp ecosystem, strategic partnerships, significant investment, and a high market capitalization. The platform is continuously improving and evolving, with ongoing development focused on scalability, interoperability, and compliance with regulations. Tron is well-positioned to benefit from the growth of industries such as DeFi and NFTs, and its future looks bright as a significant player in the blockchain industry.
