What is proof of brain?
Proof of brain (PoB) is the ability of an author to create content which is free from plagiarism. PoB content has a higher possibility of being quality.
Proof of brain has potential to be understood, utilized, and also appreciated by the masses. PoB is a pure proof of brain token. This shows that the token enters circulation through only PoB. Rewards earned via posting and also curating content with PoB staked. PoB has a total distribution of 21 million tokens with rewards split 50% / 50% to curators and authors of the content.
The Steemit platform goes inline with PoB because it is prohibited to share content that is copied from another person. Hence, it is necessary to develop the habit of making content that is PoB.
What does curation mean to you in steemit Blockchain?
Curation in the steemit chain is the rewards earned through contents created. This is done through voting of what an author is posted. At the bottom left of the content, there is two buttons, the green button which represent the upvote and the red button as downvote.
Curator with more than 500 steem power(s.p) after hitting the upvote,appears on a slide from 0% to 100% which he decides on the percentage to vote for an author. Quality posts which are free from plagiarism are advantageous to be curated. Just like upvotes, contents can also be downvoted by the curator which will in turn reduce the reputation of the account downvoted as a result of either plagiarized content or other reasons that makes the curator do so. Curation increases the reputation of the account which spells out his or her engagement to the steemit platform.
Benefits of building steem power(s.p).
There are alot of merits derived in building S.p Below are a few listed advantages of building s.p.
Building s.p gives more influence on your post than users with lower s.p.
With huge s.p, your upvotes or downvotes have an effect on the author's reputation.
Building s.p has greater impact as it serves as an investment to the user.
Curator gets 50% of the rewards when voted on posts created by an author.
How do you explain self upvoting as a good or bad behavior ?
As we are familiar with the phrase self upvote, this refers to a situation where an author votes on his or her own post. Upvotes on a post serves as a way of approving the quality of the post which requires others to determine it. Hence, in my opinion, self upvoting isn't a good habit. Therefore, content creators should allowed their post to be judge by other steemians as that is the major way of identifying your strengths and weaknesses.
