• Altcoin

The most recognized cryptocurrency in the entire world is Bitcoin. It has its own rules. But there exist different cryptocurrencies, in fact, there are a thousand of them, these alternatives coins are called altcoin. They have their own rules and dynamism, and there are a lot of aspects to have in mind when you want to analyze each of them. • Stable currencies

Stable currencies, in the world of cryptocurrencies, have been created to enjoy the benefits of crypto, but at the same time, they seek to stay out of the fluctuations that many cryptocurrencies present. As its name indicates, its price remains stable, almost without variations. With these currencies, trading would not be possible, since there are no increasing or decreasing curves that allow buying and selling with the aim of obtaining a profit (at the risk of losing).

• Trading pair

It consists of acquiring two different assets and then selling and buying (making a trade) according to their fluctuations, to benefit from them.

A bagholder is an investor who bought stocks (in this case cryptocurrencies) whose value fell too low and now they don't occupy a competitive place among altcoins. HOLD, refers to the act of buying cryptocurrencies in a saving and investment mode, hoping that their value will increase. The smallest recordable unit of bitcoin is called satoshi, which is 0.0000000001. This is a term that is currently being used a lot in the world of cryptocurrencies, since due to the high value that bitcoin has reached, a satoshi represents the equivalent of different products or services that can be purchased.

• Bullish y bearish

The terms bullish and bearish mean two opposite states of the market (it can be of cryptocurrencies, of the stock market, of raw material). Both words come from English and bullish refers to the bull, while bearish refers to bear. In financial parlance, this translates to:

• Bullish: a rising market, where the value of assets increases. This is something positive for those who own cryptocurrencies
• Bearish: the curve decreases and prices fall, this is a fall in the curve and therefore implies a loss of investment (which in case of being a HODL, there will be no problem because if it is a crypto whose value is increasing in a long term, they will get that money back).

• FUD

Fear, uncertain and doubt. This means when people starts to spread fake news, mostly negative, to provoque that others sell or don't buy. The goal behind this, is to obtain profit from this. Of course you can do it to a friend, in a small scale, but this is more global. Is some kind of manipulation of the market.

Conclusion

The crypto Universe is unlimited and the terms around it will be increasing. Th article written by @besticofinder is amazing and the homework that he gave to us as well, but this is a small taste of what all that I have to learn. Today, I really understood a lot of things, and I've incorporated these key concepts to keep giving my firsts steps in crypto world.

• Monedas estables (stablecoins)

Las monedas estables, en el mundo de las criptomonedas, han sido creadas para gozar de los beneficios de las cripto, pero al mismo tiempo buscan mantenerse fuera de las fluctuaciones que presentan muchas criptomonedas. Como su nombre lo indican, su precio se mantiene estable, casi sin variaciones. Con estas monedas, el trading no sería posible, ya que no se observan curvas crecientes o decrecientes que permitan la compra y venta con el objetivo de obtener una ganancia (a riesgo de perder).

USDT es un ejemplo de moneda estable, y TUDT (True USDT) también. Cada una de ellas vale 1 dólar y USDT está respaldada por la reserva de USD.

• Trading de pares (Trading pair)

El trading de pares consiste en adquirir dos activos diferentes y luego vender y comprar (hacer trade) de acuerdo a sus fluctuaciones, para beneficiarse de ellas.

Se hace con un gráfico que presenta la evolución de las dos criptomonedas en este caso, y cuando la curva de una de llas supera a la otra, se vende ese activo, para comprar del otro, que estaría a precio más bajo (especulando que subirá y entonces se ganará dinero)

• Bagholder

Un bagholder es un inversionista que compró acciones (en este caso criptomonedas) cuyo valor cayó demasiado y ahora no ocupan un lugar competitivo entre las altcoin. El inversor, en lugar de vender estas cripto, aceptando la pérdida, decide retenerlas porque especula que en agúnmomento su valor subirá y podrá recuperar su dinero u obtener ganancias.

• Sats

Se denomina satoshi a la unidad más pequeña que se puede registrar de bitcoin, que es 0.0000000001. Este es término que se está utilizando mucho actualmente en el mundo de las criptomonedas, ya que por el alto valor que ha alcanzado bitcoin, un satoshi representa el equivalente de diferentes productos o servicios que pueden comprarse.

• Bullish y bearish

Los términos bullish y bearish significan dos estados contrapuestos del mercado (puede ser de las criptomonedas, de la bolsa, de materia prima). Ambas palabras provienen del inglés y bullish hace referencia al toro, mientras que bearish a oso. En el término del lenguaje financiero, esto se traduce como:

• Bullish: mercado en alza, en donde el valos de los activos aumenta. Esto es algo positivo para aquellos que poseen criptomoneas o acciones
• Bearish: la curva decrece y los precios bajan, esto es una caída en la curva y por lo tanto implica una pérdida de la inversión (que en caso de ser un HODL, no habrá problema porque si se trata de una cripto cuyo valor está aumentando en el largo plazo, recuperará ese dinero).

FUD

Miedo, incertidumbre y duda. Esto significa cuando la gente comienza a difundir noticias falsas, en su mayoría negativas, para provocar que otros vendan o no compren. El objetivo detrás de esto es obtener ganancias de esto. Por supuesto que puedes hacerlo con un amigo, a pequeña escala, pero esto es más global. Es una especie de manipulación del mercado.

Conclusión

El Universo de las criptomonedas es ilimitado y los términos a su alrededor aumentarán. El artículo escrito por @besticofinder es increíble y también lo es la tarea que nos dio, pero esta es una pequeña muestra de todo lo que tengo que aprender. Hoy, realmente entendí muchas cosas y he incorporado estos conceptos clave para seguir dando mis primeros pasos en el mundo de las criptomonedas.
