Introduction

Playing of electronic video games is something that has been evolving over time. Playing of electronic games is form of relaxation enjoyed by both children and elderly ones today. Before the invention of block-chain based games, users only gained monetary reward when competition was hosted among players.

However with the invention of block chain gaming system, users can now earn financial reward in form of tokens, all thanks to the non-fungible token (NFT) technology.

What’s all about Blockchain cuties universe?

This game was developed and lunched in the year 2018. It was built on five blockchains namely:

• Ethereum,
• Tron, Matic,
• Neo, and
• Eos.
  The game was designed with several animals both domestic and wild. They include cats, puppies, pigs, bear cubs and others. As a player all that is required of you is to collect these animals known as cuties, train them and then sell them off other players that may need the unique features contained in your cuties. It is an exciting game to play indeed especially for the pet lovers.

Features of the Blockchain cuties.

My Pet

This feature displays pets owned by the player. These cuties are purchased by players from the game market via smart contracts. Every cutie is specially designed with its own unique physical characteristics and attributes such as body shape, abilities, etc.

Forge

This feature helps players to modify their pets and give special equipment such as Armour Tron, and Tron Power Wings and Tron Power Helmet. These features helps to fortify the pest for battle.

Adventure

This is the main aspect of the game, because this is where pets are set on adventures where they battle other cuties. The success of the cutie in the adventure depends on the how well fortified the cutie is and also the experience of the player.

The player does not necessarily have to play the games like the centralized games. What determines if your pet wines or not is the abilities or characteristics possessed by the pet since there is no active participation from you.

BCUG

This is token used on the platform. Users on the platform are allowed to stake and unstake their BCUG. It is the only approved means of transaction on the cuties platform. However it is very important that user link their ETH wallet with the BCUG token before they can be allowed to start staking.

Tournament

This aspect is similar to the adventure feature that allows you compete based on the characteristics possessed by your pet. What determines if you win or not is the special features built into your pet. The tournament section displays when this game played, rules involved in the game as well the number of participants involved.

Market place

Like the name implies, this is where players buy and sell cuties of their choice. In real life, people buy pets and breed them to them how they want them to act, either friendly or aggressive. Players on this platform also breed and improve the abilities of pets, and advertise them in the marketplace section.

Special sale

Specials sales section is where cuties that have bred and fortified with special features are being advertised to those who would be interested in purchasing them.

Leaderboard

This is the statistics section of the platform. It displays the statistical data of best players on the platform.

Achievement

This is the section that displays a player’s achievement overtime on the platform. Players are rewarded with coin tokens after a successful adventure.

Review

Blockchain is something that is new invention that would need some time to catchup with the convention electronic video games. Blockchain cuties universe has some fine features however we expect the developers to continue fine tuning the games.

Advantages

Income: users of this decentralized gaming platform have the opportunity to generate regular passive income from this platform by playing games, breeding of their pet and trading them on this platform.

Convenience: this platform is convenient and it has a user friendly interface as it can easily be navigated by every first timer.

Creativity: unlike the centralized game, the cuties universe allows users to play with the cuties and rebuild them to their own desired taste and not being hooked to what the developer had already produced.

Disadvantages

Capital intensive: it is would require a lot of capital to purchase the best cuties with unique features. These may discourage those with little or no funds to give it try.

Poor interaction: players do not actually participate in the game process. These may cause a whole lot of persons to consider sticking to their centralized games because the energy is not enough energy there after playing.

Healing feature: this is one feature that is very time consuming. After these cuties go on adventure they would need some time to actually cool off before they can continue on another adventure.

What’s your rating for the game on a scale of 5

I would honestly give it a 3/5
The reason is that the game lacks the usual engagement and energy that usually comes with gaming. And so most persons would not want to give it a try because they cannot participate fully as supposed. However players can still earn tokens while playing the game which is a very unique feature.

Conclusion

Research has shown that playing video is something that very good for the brain, because it helps the player to think and also relax. I believe that if certain improvements are made on the blockchain gaming, such as making players to become an active participant, then most of us would not go closer to the centralized games.
Blockchain cuties universe is of such games that would soon be a dominant force in the industry as it is built on 5 different blockchains that allows users to choose what is best for them. It also has a user friendly interface that used even by a novice.
