Qué es un CFD de criptomonedas / What is a cryptocurrency CFD?

CFD stands for Contract for Difference. It is an adjustment by which two parties agree to exchange the difference between the type of entry price and the exit price of the asset on which the CFD has been established. It is based on taking advantage of the price variations of a wide variety of listed assets without the need to buy them, which can cause a profit or loss margin based on the value of the asset over time until the contract ends. Thanks to CFDs, investors have the opportunity to trade different types of financial products without owning them, such as indices, stocks, etc.

CFDs are leveraged, what do you mean by Leveraged? It means that you only need to deposit a small percentage of the total value of the operation that you want to carry out in order to have a position, which is called the margin, which in trading means that you can maximize your profitability, but you can also run the risk of that your losses will be multiplied based on the total value of your position in the CFD.

• Se tiene un accesos directo al mercado. Algunos brokers cuentan con esta pequeña característica que les permite invertir en un CDF directamente en el mercado sin tener que pasar por algún tipo de intermediario .
• Tiene una amplia oferta de activos subyacentes con los qué poder operar.
• No aplica ningún tipo de comisión al realizar una operación.
• El Mercado siempre está operativo las 24Hrs por 5Días a la semana.
• Los contratos no tienen una fecha de vencimiento en específico, los cuales puedes cerrar la operación cuando consideres.

I will talk a little about what are its most important characteristics that the CFD has.

• There is direct access to the market. Some brokers have this small feature that allows them to invest in a CDF directly in the market without having to go through some type of intermediary.
• It has a wide range of underlying assets with which to operate.
• It does not apply any type of commission when carrying out an operation.

Segunda Pregunta /Question Two

¿Cómo sé si los CFD de criptomonedas son adecuados para mi estrategia comercial? / How do I determine if cryptocurrency CFDs are suitable for my trading strategy?

• Debemos elegir un instrumento financiero en el que trabajar, es importante elegir el tipo de instrumento en el que queramos invertir.
• El inversor debe elegir si puede operar sus activos en un periodo en largo o corto plazo, es decir, comprar o vender.
• Debemos evaluar el tipo de riesgo que corremos al realizar estos tipos de transacciones, para ellos debemos tenemos que seleccionar el stop loss y así evitar mayores pérdidas que las establecidas.
• Tenemos que tener un control de las operaciones abiertas para así poder corregir la posición del mercado, esto depende mucho si el mercado no va en la dirección que no habíamos previsto.

• We must choose a financial instrument in which to work, it is important to choose the type of instrument in which we want to invest.
• The investor must choose whether he can operate his assets in a long or short term, that is, buy or sell.
• We must evaluate the type of risk we run when making these types of transactions, for them we must select the stop loss and thus avoid greater losses than those established.
• We have to have a control of the open operations in order to correct the market position, this depends a lot if the market does not go in the direction that we had not anticipated.

Tercera Pregunta / Third Question

¿Son los CFD productos financieros riesgosos? / Are CFDs risky financial products?

The CFD carries a high level of risk for your capital unlike other more traditional types of investment, since prices can move quickly against you. They may not be suitable for all investors who are starting in this field, so it is highly recommended that you do not do any type of operation before understanding and analyzing the risks involved.

They are complex instruments and are related to a high risk of being able to lose your capital quickly due to the use of leverage, which is why they are considered to be inappropriate for some investors since they require constant monitoring of the investment. It is your sole responsibility to decide whether investing in CFDs suits your needs as an investor and whether it is compatible with your risk profile.

Cuarta Pregunta / Fourth question

¿Todos los brokers ofrecen CFD de criptomonedas? / Do all brokers offer cryptocurrency CFDs?

Not all brokers offer cryptocurrency CFDs as an intermediary is not always needed to get in the way to execute a cryptocurrency transaction between the seller and the buyer, which makes it possible to trade without CFDs.

Quinta Pregunta / Fifth question

Explique cómo puede operar con CFD de criptomonedas en uno de los corredores (usando una cuenta de demostración) / Explain how you can trade crypto CFDs on one of the brokers (using a demo account)

1- Me dirijo primero a la pagina principal del corredor EToro para poder realizar mi registro formal.

2- Una vez realizado el registro cambio mi cartera real a cartera virtual.

3- Ya una vez que le demos al cambio de cartera real a cartera virtual nos saldrá ese cuadra, el cual le daremos click en "Ir a la Cartera Virtual".

4- Aquí le vamos a dar en "Instrumentos" seguidamente le damos Click en "Criptomonedas"

5- Saldrá varias criptomonedas en las que queremos invertir. En mi caso elegí la cripto de Litecoin (LTC)

6- Después que le daremos click en la cripto deseada nos saldrá un cuadro "Invertir", el cual nos dará la opción en invertir en ella.

7- Agregaremos la cantidad que deseamos manejar, puedes colocar las que usted considere factible en ella. Una vez fijada la cantidad le daremos en "Ejecutar Operación".

8- Una vez ya ejecutada la operación le damos a "Portafolio". El cual nos dará la información de los movimientos que se está produciendo en tu cartera.

9- Para finalizar si deseamos terminar el contrato le hacemos Click en la operación que se está ejecutando y luego hacemos Click en la X.

At this point of the task I will first give the explanations and then I will place the images with their respective numbers to have an order and a suitable sequence. In which I explain a bit of how to trade CFDs in one of its brokers, taking into account that the broker I chose was EToro.

1- I go first to the main page of the corridor [EToro] (https://www.etoro.com/es/) to be able to make my formal registration.

2- Once the registration is done, I change my real portfolio to a virtual portfolio.

3- Once we give the change from real portfolio to virtual portfolio, that block will appear, which we will click on "Go to Virtual Portfolio".

4- Here we are going to give you in "Instruments" then we click on "Cryptocurrencies"

5- There will be several cryptocurrencies in which we want to invest. In my case I chose the crypto of Litecoin (LTC)

6- After we click on the desired crypto, an "Invest" box will appear, which will give us the option to invest in it.

7- We will add the amount we want to handle, you can place the ones that you consider feasible in it. Once the amount is set, we will click on "Execute Operation".

8- Once the operation has been executed, we click on "Portfolio". Which will give us the information of the movements that are taking place in your portfolio.

9- To finish if we want to end the contract, we click on the operation that is being executed and then we click on the X.
