Hello everyone, welcome to the new week season of the crypto Academy which I hope met you in great terms and conditions. On this week topic tutored by @wahyunahrul where we have been taught on making use of the socios app which is a Blockchain platform based for football, basketball, and others which will be discussed later in the write-up as follows;

Question 1 - Explain in detail what is the Socios.com Platform?

Socios.com platform is an entertainment crypto-based platform, purposely built to entertain fans of a particular sport or club, in other to get the fans closer to their club, with the intention of fans as well to be part of the club decision making.

The socios.com platform was built on the Chiliz blockchain, making use of the CHZ – Chiliz token.

Socios.com platform can as well be experienced through the mobile application called (Socios app). Socios application is a mobile crypto wallet, with award features, a fan token exchange platform and as well it's an application where fan token holders can impact their favorite club motives.

The socios.com platform now have partners in lots of games such as football, gaming, basketball, and others which the number keeps growing

Socios.com platform entails the following features;

• Fan Token Features: The Fan token serves as an intermediary's between the particular club and its fans on this platform, in a sense that the club issue out the token while the fans buy the token in other to participate in the club activities and decision making. So far, there has been 42 fan token on the socios.com platform, which the token description are given below as seen; although only 37 of the token has been issued out yet while 5 are still in there final phase.

• Polling Features: What the poll features on the socios.com platform does exactly is to give fans the opportunity of voting a decision for the club strategy of doing, such as, with the poll features they get to vote what color should the next season jersey have or what should be written on the next kit. This particular feature seems really interesting as it gets fans to be familiar with their club and be part of its decision-makers by which they create a poll and the poll with the highest vote of the decision will be implemented.

• Reward Features: the rewards features are the last of the features on this platform, which rewards their fan token holders on the activities they have going on. An example of rewards features is seen below.

Question 2 - What are the effects when blockchain has entered the realm of the sports industry?

The effect blockchain would be when it enters the realm of the sport would definitely be a good one, because, logically what blockchain does is to bring simplicity to a platform (making decisions without a third party) and convenience and also a great form of business, in a sense that with a blockchain network, sport can easily be predicted with token and as well the token earn can be used to hunt for reward and make easier for fans or sponsors to get on easily. And this effect would bring a lot of sponsors to the sports world in a sense that even with whatever little token you possess you can vote a decision and improvement in your own club easily without needing to reach out to a third party or club management before you can reach out to your favorite club.

Prediction table: The effect of blockchain would definitely be the prediction in a sense that when there is a change in a game we can expect the value of the particular token to drop or rise depending on the choice made by the poll or by the particular club.

Question 3 - Is Socios.com a good prospect as an investment vehicle? Explain your personal opinion along with strong evidence.

In my own opinion, for now, socios.com is still a good investment vehicle in a sense that it's not widely known yet i.e it hasn't gotten to its realm yet, and with the features this platform partakes, it's of certainty that sooner or later the platform will definitely boom and this will be good for investment mostly to early investors who would be able to have made a huge profit before the platform get known widely yet, for instance, the value of chillz has been increasing so far these days as more partners join the platform and as well as people keep getting to invest in the platform token, the demand price for the chillz token keeps increasing the value of each token as well keep on booming as well as the market moves on, so yes its a good platform for investments.

Step 1

You go to playstore and type socio in the space bar and it displays as shown below and then clicks the install button

Step 2

After a successful download of the app which is 53Mb in size for the android application, then you click open

Step 3

Launching the application displays this, then you wait for the page to load 100%

Step 4

Then it takes you to the welcome page where you click Get started as shown below

Step 5

Then it takes you to the Login/Register page where you are required to fill in your phone number and await verification for confirmation.

Step 6

Then after verifying your phone number, you are required to register by putting in your username and as well your e-mail which verification will be sent. Then After you click Register Now

Step 7

Then you will be redirected to the email you register with for verification, where you are only required to click verify from your email account.

Step 8

Then Congratulations, Your account has been successfully created.

Step 9

Then you get a pop-up notification telling you your account has been awarded and your limit has been increased, just as seen below

Then you go back to the app, which then displays its features, whereby you click on next

Step 11

This step is a continuation of the previous page which you keep on clicking till the end of the page, which is page 4 which then you click on the tab finish.

Step 12

Then you click on the top corner of the socios app and you get to view your account details and as well the account level

Step 13

After you have successfully verified your account, you will be rewarded with a token called SSU token, which you can view right from your wallet on the app.

I picked the $Inter fan token which I then participate in the quiz

Then after concluding with the quiz I was able to score 5/5

Conclusion

Socio.com has been a great platform despite that it's still in growing mode, the platform posses a lot of interesting features with a very more promising uprise in the future. With features such as vote, polling, fans can be happy to participate in great deals especially on this, as an individual everyone loves to be heard and that's what the app promise where it says Be more than a fan. The Fan token is mostly interesting especially to crypto experts which with management decision everyone can easily predict which token will rise or drop in the hereon, its actually a very interesting business idea which I would be dealing on later in the future.
