Hello steemians, this is another wonderful episode from @levycore. Previous, we learnt about NFTs. Todays lecture is more like the continuation of the previous lecture about NFTs. How to buy and sell NFTs. Above all, I would like to acknowledge the professors and the community as well. For using this platform as a means of educating us.

Without wasting much time, i would present my homework systematically.

1. Select the NFT market that you want to try to sell and buy NFTs and why did you choose this market.

Currently, there are so many platforms that can be used to trade NFTs.

Some of them are:

• Rarible

• opensea

• SuperRare

All the different types of platforms have thier own special features which attracts traders differently. I choose Rarible.

What is Rarible

Rarible is simply an NFTs marketplace that utilises the Rari token to empower users who interact with their protocol. Rarible is a decentralised platform built on the Ethereum blockchain. As we all know, there are no aggressive restrictions on decentralised platforms. Rarible is very easy to use and doesn't not require experts knowledge to understand the interface. Non fungible tokens like the collectibles can be easily created without any expertise. Rarible allows users to trade on thier NFTs with ease.

The reason why I choose Rarible was that:

• Rarible allows users without computer programming knowledge to create their own collectables easily.

• The Rarible has a friendly user interface which doesn't require special crypto skills to understand.

above all, the platform is trusted with very good security to avoid any hackers.

2. How to sell NFT on Rarible

Before you can be able to trade on the Rarible platform, you first need to connect your wallet to your Rarible account.

How to connect metamask to Rarible.

Step 1

• open the metamask wallet

Step 2

• click on the three horizontal parallel lines at the top left and click browser from the appeared menu.

• type Rarible.com in the browser

• The Rarible platform would appear. Click on the horizontal parallel lines at the top right

Step 5

• from the menu that appears, click on connect at the down left

Step 6

• Click on metamask from the next pop up menu and click connect afterwards from the next pop up and proceed.

After connecting the wallet to the account, this is how you create or sell the NFTs.

Step 1

• click on the two horizontal parallel lines at the top right

Step 2

• click on "create collectables" at the down

Step 3

• click either single or multiple depending on the number of the collectables.

Step 4

• chose the size and add up

Step 5

• select the price(the currency). Create or maintain the Rarible token

Step 6

• confirm payment

How to buy NFT from Rarible

Step 1

• open the RaribleRarible

Step 2

• choose the desired collectable and click on it

Step 3

you could either bid or buy it instant
click "Buy"

proceed to checkout payment

That how to purchase NFTs on Rarible

Advantages of Rarible

• Since Rarible is a decentralised platform, no third party is needed in transactions. And allow the user to manage ones personal account.

• Using the Rarible platform, a user can create NFT without any sort of coding. no computer program language is needed.

• users are allowed to create a sell thier own NFTs on the platforms

• Rarible has very friendly interface which makes it easy for beginners no understand how to operate on the platform.

Disadvantages of Rarible

• The major disadvantage of the Rarible is that, it only supports the Ethereum blockchain network and uses just few tokens.

• Because of Ethereum's network popularity, more people globally uses the network for more transactions which has lead to high cost of transactions fee on the Ethereum blockchain network.

conclusion

The Rarible is a very good platform to trade in the NFTs. Although there are some disadvantages, I think the advantages involves overlooks the disadvantages.
