Explain in your own words the delegation process on the Steem blockchain, how does it work? What are its main goals? And Is it a safe process?

Delegation is the process by which we can transfer our Steem power to other users or communities. By giving delegations to someone we can help them carry out their content on steemit as we know that every user requires a certain amount of Steem power to start posting on steemit, upvoting & commenting.

Delegations are done through smart contracts on the steem blockchain as we borrow Steem power from any user to help out them in their difficult situations some users now create accounts through justty & they didn't get delegation from the steemit blockchain & they need Steem power from any other user on steemit to get start their work like sharing a post on steemit, comment on any user post or upvote.

Delegation is the process in which both parties or users agree to do this & it requires another user steemit name to borrow Steem's power from any user. Delegation is a simple & easy process on steemit through which you can transfer your Steem power to another user.
Here are some steps which you have to follow while doing delegation:

  • Step 1 First you have to log in to your steemit username on Steemworld. Click on the signup option then add your private posting key & steemit username & log in to Steemworld.org.

  • Step 2 Then open the dashboard on the main or home page on Steemworld.org which is made by Steemchiller. Click on the delegation icon when you open the dashboard. Then click on the delegate option & here you can add the username or community name to which you want to delegate then add the amount of Steem power according to present Steem power.

  • Step 3 Then click on the Yes option for confirmation of steemit username or community name & amount of Steem power. Then add your private active key to complete the delegation process. Then you have successfully delegated to any community or user.

Delegation is a safe process as you can revert your delegation from the user or community at any time. Even though if someone is powering down then it shouldn't affect your Steem power you can still revert your Steem power. It takes 4 days to revert the Steem power into your account.

Have you ever delegated SP amount to a user or community before? If so, tell us, did you do so voluntarily or at the request of the party you delegated to it? And why did you withdraw your delegation?

Yes, I have delegated Steem's power to a few communities. I did voluntarily & on request of some communities as I was actively posting there & also working as a moderator there so, I think it was beneficial to delegate them.

I have delegated to Steem Infinity Zone, SteemFoods, Steemit Pakistan, and Steem Studios at their request & voluntarily too. I delegated to SteemFoods on request & I agreed as they were supporting those users who have done delegation to their community account. I was working as a moderator in SIZ, Steem Studios so, I delegate them voluntarily as I want to play my part in community growth.

I withdraw delegation from these communities as they started powering down without any reason even though they were getting support from the steemit team. Then I withdraw delegation from Steem Studios as the community was not progressing & it was better to invest my steem power in a better community. Now, I have delegated more than 80% of my steem power to own a community account as I need our community to progress.

Do you delegate SP without worrying about using it as long as you collect your daily or monthly fees?

Yes, there are no worries if you delegate your Steem power as we will help them in growing their community account & also our steem power will be safe which we can revert any time. Delegation is beneficial for those users who have no or less time to comment or upvote on other users'' posts.

I am a medical student so, I get less time to spend on steemit so, so I prefer to delegate it to any community account it benefits other users & that community too. Because if aren't using our Steem power for upvoting it's wasting so, so it's better to delegate Steem power to any community or new users so that they can grow on steemit.

Are you with or against the SP delegation to the communities? Why? If accepted, on what criteria will your choice of society be based?

I am with Steem's power delegation to communities & newcomers. As we are helping them to more progress on steemit by giving our Steem power in delegation & which will also be beneficial for those users who are posting in that respective community.

I think it's good for us to support those communities that have fewer resources than other communities as we know users wish to post there from where they can get more support & upvote. As newly open communities have less Steem power fewer users are interested in sharing their content & the number of active users will decrease day by day in that respective community & it's not good for their reputation too.

But when we delegate to those communities users will attract to share their content as they know they will get some support & reward in return for posting there. Because if anyone shares valuable & good content in the community they will get an upvote from the community account that encourages users to share their rewards & also some communities to give delegation rewards to their community users which will help those users to grow more.

Are you with or against the SP delegation to users without benefits in return? Why? If you agree, on what criteria will your choice of user be based?

I am with a delegation of Steem power without getting benefits in return. As we know if we help someone in their difficulties then Allah will reward us with much more power & prosperity. I have seen a lot of users delegating their Steem power to newbies so that they can start their work on steemit & get support from communities.

For delegating Steem power the main thing is the user account should be real as we have seen there is an increase in several abusers & spammers on steemit which created different accounts for getting support from steemit by using multiple steemit accounts due to which users losing their faith on them that they are real or not.

Secondly, the user should be passionate to work on steemit & have faith in them that they can grow on steemit if someone supports them by delegating Steem power to them. You can reduce your delegation with time as the user start growing on steemit. I have seen some newbies on steemit getting less support as they didn't post more content in a day that's why it would be better if we support the newcomers on steemit without getting rewards in return.

Conclusion

I concluded that delegation plays a significant role in steemit in any community growth or user to get support. I encourage users to support some newly created communities as most of the users are disheartened as they didn't get much support on their posts in any community. So, if you're not using your Steem power it's better to support any newcomer or community account.

This was all about my participation. I hope you like my participation & I would like to invite my friends @m-fdo, @suboohi, @mdkamran99 to share their participation. Best of luck to all.

The weight is reduced because of the lack of Voting Power. If you vote for me as a witness, you can get my little vote.

@ashkhan I completely agree with your observation about the importance of delegation in Steemit and community growth. Supporting newly created communities and users who may feel discouraged is a great way to contribute. Best wishes to you as well!

I like your strategy of delegating your Steem power to active communities so that they can support active, participating community members.
And your review is very useful for the importance of delegation to the community.
