What is Mvest? |

Mvest is an important concept in Steemit ecosystem , a platmform built on the Steem blockchain. It represents a user's investment and influence on the Steem blockchain . Simply put, Mvest is a measurement and influence unit for Steem Power (SP) , which is the currency on the Steem blockchain. One Mvest is equal to one million Vests , & Vests are a representation of a user's ownership and influence within the Steemit ecosystem.
Having more Mvest means having more influence and Steem Power, which translates to greater influence and rewards on the Steemit blockchain . The amount of Mvest a user possesses determines their voting power in blockchain and their ability to earn rewards. When users power up their Steem into SP , their Mvest increases, amplifying their influence on the platform. Conversely, powering down Steem decreases the amount of Mvest values a user holds.
In essence, Mvest represent a user's commitment to the Steemit platform and their token stake in its economy. The more Mvest a user has, the more valuable their votes become when distributing rewards to deserving posts on steemit . I possess 7072 steem in my wallet , With a Steem power of approximately 7072, I decided to check the number of Mvests associated with my account. As shown in the above screenshot, I entered my current Steem power amount in my wallet , revealing that my Mvest stands at an impressive 12438373.0457.
This value signifies my influence on platform and voting power on the Steemit platform. It's an exciting realization to see how my Steem power translates into Mvest, indicating the weight & impact of my votes when supporting any content within the community.
