Ethereum and Tron are two giant blockchains that have attracted a lot of comparison overtime, this is not surprising as these two has a lot of successful projects built on them.

SIMILARITIES BETWEEN ETHEREUM BLOCKCHAIN AND TRON BLOCKCHAIN.

DECENTRALIZATION: When it comes to blockchain, one thing that is for sure is Decentralization, and as expected, both Ethereum blockchain and the Tron blockchain are Decentralized and to the best of my wide knowledge in cryptocurrency, there is no third-party involvement in the activities of these two.
NETWORK SECURITY: Ethereum blockchain has a great network security especially with the investment it has made in mainet security after the DAO hack issue, Tron also has a good network security despite the scarce update in their bug bounty program.
Global Acceptability: With the number of users gained by these two leading blockchain platforms, it is clear that both of them have been widely accepted globally and they have generated some level of trusts for their projects despite the fact that Ethereum seem to be having more community support that Tron.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ETHEREUM BLOCKCHAIN AND TRON BLOCKCHAIN.
After taking a look at some of those features that Tron blockchain and the Ethereum blockchain platforms share in common, let's look at those things that make them different or that seems to be making one better than the other.

TRANSACTION SPEED; When it comes to blockchain platforms, the first thin a always consider is their transaction speed because this is very vital in the financial world.
Currently, Ethereum transactions take up to 6 minutes and it is expected to increase more with the release of Ethereum 2.0. This is in complete contrast with the transaction speed of TRON BLOCKCHAIN platform which takes only a few seconds.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT; As I earlier hinted when talking about global Acceptability, Ethereum has a social rating of 23% while Tron only has about 6.9%. This is because Ethereum has more social media followers than Tron in general.
MARKET VALUE; Another important factor that can never be overlooked when blockchains are being discussed is their market value, Ethereum currently have a market value that is around $53 billion and this is so massive when compared to the Market value of Tron that is about $1.7 billion.

CONCLUSION.
Ethereum seem to be having many advantages over Tron and it doesn't look like Tron will over take Ethereum as some people are curious of. The main difference between these two seem to be the wide range between their transaction speed, in which Tron is the better, and in their Market value, in which Ethereum leads.
