Hello everyone!

This is Aniqa Mashkoor making my homework post for professor @sapwood. This homework post is all about Steem and Tron. I am in good health and hope so you all will be in good health too.

What is PoB? What does curation mean to you in Steem Blockchain? What are the benefits of building SP? How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why? What is POB?

POB is proof of brain. Steemit is a blockchain-based blogging website. On this platform, people create quality and original content. For the quality of their content, they are rewarded. The rewards they receive are in the form of the digital currency known as steem. The POB concept is that an individual can earn on steemit blockchain by using his wisdom and brain.

Basically, the POB algorithm is the reward system. The rewards are generated and distributed to the content creators from the “Rewards Pool” then there is another term stake-weighted mechanism or generally known as steem power. It can be both earned and generated. It helps the users to upvote and downvote from the reward pool. The more the SP the more influence user will have to redistribute the rewards. It increases parallelly with the quality content created by any user.

The main advantages that the Proof of Brain mechanism gave us are, it helps you groom your writing skills, and it also brings more traffic to the content created by you on the basis of originality and presentation.

As explained by the professor;

"It can be called as POB when the reward pool(65% of the total), the stake-weighted mechanism(SP), the wisdom of the people, all put together."

What does curation mean to me in Steem Blockchain?

As discussed above, in steemit blockchain the users are rewarded for creating the content and they receive it on the basis of their content's quality. So, curation is collectively the name of upvoting and downvoting any content.

There are certain aspects that are rechecked before curating any post;

1. Read the post thoroughly.

2. Examine it for originality and if it following all the rules of the community.

3. Is the most useful and engaging and adds value to your life.

4. Is the post-plagiarism-free.

If all the following aspects are fulfilled then the post is upvoted by using voting power or steem power. We can also resteem the post to share it with our followers so that they also enjoy the positive and valuable content. If in case you find the post breaching steemit policy we must downvote it and flag it to make it prominent. All this is known as curation.

What are the benefits of building SP?

The term SP in steemit is known as steem power. This is of great importance. The effect of curation can be increased with SteemPower. The greater the user's Sp, the higher the amount of content may be a vote from his side. We can increase our SP by powering up steem. Steem Power can be explained as a user's power through which he can influence other people's posts by voting up or down. Users should avoid powering down.

Another importance of having a high amount of SP is for the creation and development of communities. There is some specific amount of SP that must be owned by any user to form a community. Moreover, for the development and betterment of communities, users can delegate their SP's and this can only be done when you yourself own a good amount of SP.

How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why?

Self upvoting is actually curating your own post. Just in order to receive both author and curator reward for the sake of some amount.

It is bad social behavior because you are when we vote on our own post the voting power reduces while it can be used to vote on other people's posts and support them. We should upvote other people's posts by examining their posts on the basis of quality.

What are the different tokens do you earn by socializing in Steem Blockchain?

1. SBD (Steem Dollar)
2. Steem
3. TRX
4. SP (Steem Power)

Steem is the basic token of this blockchain. We can earn both steem and SBD by participating in different communities and we can increase our steem by converting steem dollar tokens.

Steem Dollar is a type currency of the steem blockchain It is earned when a post is curated. A (50-50)% distribution is there, thus 50% of the curator vote goes to the author and the remaining 50% goes to the curator.

The TRX is more like a free token or a gift, we can earn it simply by socializing on steemit. It is earned in a simple ratio of 1SP:1TRX.

The other important token is steem power (SP). We can collect it along with our sbd or steem token It can also be earned by setting the reward collection to 100% steem power. After selecting this option the total reward of the post will be in the form of steem power. It can also be increased by converting our steems to SP in a simple form 1Steem = 1 SP by powering up process.

How would you use your TRX earned in Steem Blockchain to optimize earning in the Tron ecosystem?

The TRX tokens come along with Steem power. The TRX we earn on steemit is saved in our TronLink Wallet. These TRX increases with an increase in Steem Power earned as a reward. The concept is simple if we want more TRX we need to make more quality posts to get rewards,s and simultaneously we need to earn more SP. These TRX token have a value and specific amount. By hold the technique, the TRX token can be handled.

After completing today's task I cleared my concepts about different tokens earned on steemit. I learned about curation and how the reward splits among curators and authors. I explored the coin market cap and learned about the ranks of different cryptocurrencies.
