Am gladdened once again for yet another opportunity of this wonderful edition by the cryptoacademy. From the lecture offered by Professor @wahyunahrul, reading through this lecture series have given me a better insight on Decentralized Apps (DApps) - Future Apps from Blockchain System. To this, I will be writing based on the task given by the Professor.
Will DApps be able to replace centralized applications in other fields in the future?
With the rapid development in technology, DApps will be able to replace centralized applications in other fields in the future. Why I said so is because DApps has more advantage and would be more preferred by the masses to the centralized applications.
DApps are applications that operates on a decentralized platform which gives every user has the operational right and authority over the running and decisions made on the app. It is an application that is operable on blockchain platforms.
DApps which are applications on decentralized platform has a privacy of user’s information thus kept confidential and cannot be easily tampered with. Because of the security rate of DApps, the masses are rest assured of their funds being safe of which we know that security is paramount, so, this will automatically give the DApp a green card to replacing the centralized applications used in other fields which the safety of user’s funds is of the reverse case.
If decentralized applications are used for other fields in future, it will give the users adequate and appropriate authority to accessing their data at will without passing through a third party and also averting the stress experienced when dealing with centralized applications, with this DApps will definitely replace the centralized application in future.
If DApp is employed in other fields in the future, I think there will be transparency since histories of transactions and other formalities carried out on the DApp platform cannot be deleted by anyone and as well can be accessible to anyone without being tampered with, this will make DApp a better option to centralized application.
In decentralized application, it is difficult for user’ data to be hacked by fraudsters because of the confidentiality of user’s information as compared to the centralized application where user’s information can be shared to others via central authority which may lead to the easy access of fraudsters to user’s privacy and details.
With the major advantages although it also has flaws, DApp will be a better option for the masses to embrace which gives it a chance of replacing the centralized application in other fields in the future.
Is there a possibility for DApps to steal user data?
In my opinion, I will say No, why? because these applications are decentralized applications built on blockchains, so it will be difficult for user’s data to be stolen except and otherwise the user exposes his/her private details to the public. DApp operates in an open system where every single transaction or duties carried out on the system is open to the public but cannot be altered even by the developer itself. And there is no how someone would have access to a user data without the user being notified in the history about what happened and as such can be easily tracked or followed.
In a decentralized system where DApp operates, the operability of a user’s data is specifically owned by the user, it has no trail to the developer not as compared to the centralized system where every user’s details or data is connected to one central point and as such can be manipulated by anyone. This is what makes DApp created on blockchain platforms security base and thus user’s data cannot be stolen.
Although hackers and scammers day by day come up with diverse tricks to hack people’s data, but it can only be possible if the user exposes his/her private details to the public.
Explain the ways in which a DApp promotes its application to the public?
DApp can promotes its application to the public in diverse ways, a few are as follows:
Through the use of Social media and blog platforms: Social media platforms can be used like twitter, discord, etc. sometimes Ads of a particular DApp and its functions are displayed on a particular social media platform which enables the public to reach the DApp.
Through DApps Website: There is a DApp directory website example the DAppradar where the public visits thereby gaining access to knowing about some new DApps and their usage, benefits, etc.
Through IDOs: DApp can as well promote it application through the use of Initial Dex Offering for crowdfunding its project and this makes the public to invest in it.
Through Blockchain Forums: This is another way for its promotion by using cryptocurrency popular forums where a lot of public users gain access to like the Bitcoin forum, etc.
Choose a DApp and do a detailed analysis that proves that the DApp is a good one to use. (Provide proof with screenshot).
I will be writing about steemit DApp.
steemit is a DApp which operates under a block chain known as Steem. This blockchain gives users of the platform right to attorney to every single duty carried out on the platform. Every single transaction carried out in the app is visible to everyone this cannot be deleted or erased by anyone.
In this type of app, users have the earned tokens through writing quality content. It also has different features which comes with it variable functions.

If you were a DApps developer, what kind of app would you like to create? Explain all the details of the DApp plan that you will make.
I will work on a DApp that operates on a blockchain where users can earn cryptocurrency through creating new ideas for invention. The DApp will be named "Ideas and more".
This dapp will be created or develop for the purpose of getting new ideas from the real world and transmitted to the smart contract.
There are people who have great ideas of invention but cannot develop them, so with the help of this DApp, people will have access to expressing themselves and their new ideas thus getting help or support from the masses and as such gain some crypto tokens. This DApp will have it native token which will be swapped through IDO crowdfunding event to enable build the project to a standard.
Conclusion
This is a wonderful lecture @wahyunahrul. We have seen the wonderful incentives that the decentralized applications (DApp) like Steemit, uniswap, etc has for the world today and in future. Although the users of DApp is not as wide as it should be, we hope for a better influx of users with time owing to the rewarding avenues created by this platform to be embraced by many and as such will be a replacement of the centralized application in future.
