Hello everyone hope you all are fine and safe. Today i attend lecture by @yousafharoonkhan in which i learn about the centralized and decentralized social media and some things about steemit platform. Now i am going to submit my homework post for this lecture.

Write the definition of Decentralized and Centralized Social Media Platforms in your own words.Explain in your own words the difference between decentralization and centralization Social Media Platforms

Social media is the platform where lot of people from different parts of world connected to each other . They interact with each other , also social media allows users to share their thoughts to the world . in these days every peson in world uses social media. Social media have become our part of life. There are lot of social media platforms the famious examples are facebook, twitter, steemit, hive,etc. In general there are two types of social media's. One is centralized and other is decentralized social media.

Centralized social media is the platform which is controlled by some central authority that means in centralized social media you have to follow some set rules. In centralized media if you brake any rules that may lead account ban or may delete your account without telling you. Also some posts may be deleted if they didn't follow community rules. So you are not free in centralized social media platform. The example of centralized social media is facebook, twitter.

Decentralized social media is the platform where user has whole control in his account so here no central control exists here.Decentralized social media provides user a high security to their account. Also here is free speech that is why i like decentralized social media more. The best example if decentralized social media is steemit, hive, etc.

Difference between centralized and decentralized social media

Centralized social media is controlled by some authority while as decentralized socail media have not any central control , user has whole control in his account and on his functions.

Decentralized social media provides free speech to users ,on these platforms you can write any thing you want while centralized socail media didn't provide free speech to users as lot of accounts on centralized social media are being banned for posting against community laws. I also lost my fb account two times for some posts.

Centralized social media is less secure than a decentralized socail media. As we can see lot centralized account got hacked by getting some simple information while decentralized social is tough to hack that is why they didn't got hacked in that manner.

While using any social media platform every user wants his data safe that means every user wants privacy. In case of centralized social media there is less privacy, we see personal data of many users got leaked lot of times in centralized social media. While as decentralized provides a high privacy to thier user's.

centralized social media is good platform of communication than decentralized. Also centralized socail media has lot of users who are using while only few people in the world are using decentralized social media. That is because people have less information about decentralized social media's.

Centralized socail media's didn't pay you for posting and blogging where as decentralized socail media like steemit , hive and many more provide some benifits to their users in the shape of some tokens. As steemit provides users steem, hive provides hive coin.

Which one is the future of socail media centralized or Decentralized?

From the definition and difference between these two socail media types we can easily said which socail media is best. We can see both socail media types has some advantages as well as disadvantage. Also this time both have lot of active users. In centralized socail media we face lot of cyber attacks also it has less security and users have less privacy. Every person wants security , privacy and his person data safe and these all are present in decentralized social media platforms . so users will move from centralized social media to decentralized socail media soon and lot of users are now moving from centralized socail media to decentralized socail media. In my opinion lot people in world have not any information about decentralized platforms that is why till now it has not that much users if user got information about the decentralized socail media he/she will left centralized media and choose decentralized vary quickly without wasting time. I have also some experience of that when ever i tell a user about decentralized socail media they join vary fast. That means decentralized socail media is future of socail media.

How steemit decentralized socail media is better than twitter and facebook?

On steemit user has free speech that means you can write what you want to tell people. As everyone wants free speech while as facebook and twitter has didn't provide users free speech as lot of posts are been hidden or removed every day.

Facebook and twitter are run by some people so you have to follow thier rules and regulations and you are not free there or you didn't full control on your account . Steemit is not run by any person so you have full freedom and control on your account here.

Plagiarism is one of the main thing on facebook and twitter, if someone posts any stole his work and post in his blog and no one will tell you about this wrong work . we are seeing this thing every day on these platforms.while steemit is total against plagiarism here if you stole someone's work you may got banned for that.

On facebook and twitter user data and personal information is not safe,personal data and information go leaked lot of times while steemit didn't ger our personal data.

Steemit provides community system , if you want to learn about any specific topic you can check that community. On facebook random posts come. Also you can check anyone profile and posts on steemit while in case of facebook some posts are being restricted by some for sharing with others.

Steemit provides some economic gains to it's users in the form of steem and steem dollars for posting . while facebook and twitter didn't pay any thing to its uses. Every person in world needs money so steemit is best.

What do you say? How do steemit socail media change the lives of it's users?

Steemit change life of lot of users. I will talk about myself first i joined steemit in 2018 when i was in diploma i was vary need of money every day and i have to take money from my father sometimes i didn't get any money due to some reasons. After joining steemit i got some money first then i buy few coins from that money now i am earning good money form steemit also from trading some assets. Same like me lot of people you didn't have anywork and money before joining steemit are now earning good money. Also lot of poor people got food by joining steemit. So steemit change lives of many users. Few juys on steemit are doing charity from steemit money that gives foodless person food. Some user make rich by using steemit one of my friend you was using steemit before three years gain good rewards then he buy some assets in Cryptocurrencies now he has more than one lakh dollars. That is huge money. Also you can check the steem power of some users they have become vary rich by using steemit.

How can we make money with steemit decentralized social media.

There are two ways by which we can one one is by posting ,other is by curating the others posts. On steemit reward for every post goes half to author and half to curators.For posting on steemit there are lot of communities having a separate theme just like photography in which you have to post about photos . Same there are lot of communities on steemit platform.

When i join steemit there was not communities system , at that time every one was focusing on bug hunting and suggestions , i also gave lot of suggestions and bugs that time on utopian. Then this was stopped and i left steemit for almost two years. When i join back steemit i found community system and then some topics were set on steemit , following are some ways and communities by which we can make money this time on steemit.

Newcomers community

In this community user learn all the things about this platforms. How to use the platforms what are some rules and who to save your account and many more. Also new members are given some achievement tasks through which they earn good awards. Before starting journey on this platforms it is better to learn all things about this. As i join steemit vary early i didn't done any achievement task but i wrote introduction task that time.

The Diary game

This is one of the famious way of earning money on steemit platform. The diary game was introduced by steemitblog before one year , i earn lot of rewards through this game and i wrote more than one hundred posts in this. In this game you didn't need any talent you have just write what you did that day only. Lot of users are earning good rewards by this.

Contests

On steemit platform here are lot of contests running throughout the week in almost every community. These contests give rewards in the shape of upvotes as well as if you won any contest you will get some more rewards. The best thing in this is you didn't need to find any topic they gave to topic by themselves.

Steem foods

There are lot of persons how are interesting in cooking. You can share your recipe on steemfood community . you will get rewards for that .Also they run some contests every week by taking part in them you can earn more rewards.

Project hope

If you are interesting in crypto , technology, economy and want to write about that, you can do that in project hope. You can write anthing about Crypto, economy and technology for that you will get rewards.

Crypto academy

In this community you can learn all about crypto, every week here we get many lectures by some professors also they have homework task for these lectures. Bu doing these homework tasks you can get good reawards.
There are also lot of ways by which you can get rewards on steemit decentralized social media.

How to create communities on Steemit social media ( practicle step by step ) & Promote your homework post on two social media ,twitter and facebook

• login to your steemit account and click on steemit on top as shown by arrow.

• click on explore communities option.

• click on create a community tab on top of screen.

• Now write title of your community and a small description , click on next tab.

• You will get a password write this on piece of paper safe it, do not share this with others.

• write your private key or master password and click on login. That is done.

This operation requirs three steem, sorry sir this time i do not have any steem in my wallet , so sorry for that step.
