How do you store/secure your keys?

We know that a blockchain wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet, it can easily exchange our funds. Those blockchain or cryptocurrency wallets are very secure and very effective for quick transactions and exchanges. These blockchain wallets provide access to transactions between multiple cryptocurrencies. When we create a blockchain wallet, we get a private and public key, which basically keeps our blockchain wallet safe and secure. We all know that if you ever lose your password on a decentralized platform, it is impossible to recover it. If you lose your password and keys, you will lose your account forever. In this case, you will lose a lot. For example, you will lose all the work you have done for so long and if you have currency in your account, you will lose it, and if you lose it, you will lose it and it will never be possible to recover it.

That is why it is so important for us to keep our keys completely safe, and we need to store them in such a way that we can later get our keys back through those means. Now I am going to present to you how I keep my keys safe by doing backups. First, I would like to say that I am not in favor of saving keys online, I think saving keys online is a complete risk. Because once someone can access your online storage address, it's yours accessing the account means that it will be hacked and in this case, you can be severely damaged.

That's why I must tell you that keeping your key and password offline will be much more secure for you and your account. I keep all my keys in a personal diary and I keep that diary in a completely safe place in my home that no one but me will know about. This is why I save the keys and passwords in my diary, so that if for some reason I lose the keys and passwords so that I can recover them, I give them priority offline.
But another thing is that I keep my computer and my keys and passwords in a specific folder. And when I save my keys and passwords to my computer, I save these key passwords with some hints so that no one but me can understand them. And I save them to my computer because these key passwords are very long so typing them is a bit difficult to do so I can copy and paste my work very easily. That's why I save them on my computer. In this case, I think saving on the computer is also an offline method, but in this case, if for some reason the computer's hard disk is damaged. In that case, you may lose your keys or passwords.

What are the different forms of Private Key(Examples/Screenshot)?

We usually know that private keys have three different forms. The mnemonic key, private key, key store file
Below I will discuss these three types of private key forms with examples.

Key store file: This key is one of the rarest keys and a key completely different from the private key, this key consists of many letters, digits, commas, brackets, and many more symbols. I think this is what you need to write well in a paper or diary and take care not to omit a sign or letter. In this case, if you miss one of the letters or symbols to write, you will not be able to restore your wallet, you will completely lose your wallet. In this case, you can take a screenshot through your mobile and save it in the place of your choice where you feel most secure. I usually keep a good look in my diary, where all my other passwords are stored.

Mnemonic key: Consists of a combination of twelve random words. I saved this mnemonic key in my diary when I installed one on my Tronlink wallet. This is why I saved this mnemonic key in my diary because I was told to keep a backup of this key because I would not be able to go to the next step if I didn’t take it in the next step. So I will tell all of you to keep all the keys of your body in your diary so that you can recover your keys next time. This is the first private key that is given to each user during the registration process. This allows you to use this mnemonic key to change all other passwords whenever you want. With the same help, you can recover your account even if you need to. A mnemonic key screenshot was given to him

Private Key: This key contains a combination of our alphabet and numeric numbers, it consists of a combination of lowercase letters, and numbers. Alphabets and numerals, however, are composed in a special format and you can access your wallet or account using this private key. Below is a private key screenshot.

How do you store the key(Hint- write it down on a notepad, demonstrate it with examples)?

I will show you what a mnemonic key was given to me when I installed the Tron Wallet and how I saved it for protection.

TRa9.jpg

During the registration process, I got the above mnemonic key which is made up of 12 words. Because of privacy, it cannot be screenshotted, so I took the picture through another mobile, and I wrote it down in my diary & notebook. This is an offline system. So that I can later recover my account or wallet through this offline system.

Which form of the key are you comfortable with to handle your TronLink Wallet? Include Screenshots & hide/blur the sensitive information.

Of the private keys mentioned above, I must select the Memo key because it is the only alphabetic character that can be easily memorized and typed without any errors. Then I feel much easy and relaxed in working with mnemonic keys.

In conclusion, I would say that if you drop your keys on a centralized platform, you can recover them because the centralized platform is operated by a third party. On the other hand, since the decentralized platform is not operated by any third party, you will not be able to recover what you once lost. That's why I tell all of you to save your important keys offline so that you can protect your account or wallet from being hacked or forgotten.
